Have you ever dated a star or someone well-known at school? Like most things, when famous people are involved, it comes with lots of scrutiny and judgments. And most times, people judge celebrities before they get to know them. Their perception, or public image, travels further and faster than they do, not giving them a fair shot like others. Lil West, the rising Delaware-native artist, doesn’t leave those realities off the table.

If you aren’t the famous one and you are a woman, there’s a good chance that your friends and family may warn you about dating a star or a musician. Unfortunately, the people closest to you will not want you to get involved with an artist because they think you will be among the many partners in their lives. That might be the truth for some artists, but not all of them, so based on what I know, I think it is good to have your own experiences.
