Despite her young age, NYC-based cosmopolitan artist Aicha Dosso has already lived many lives at once. A model, actress, writer and singer-songwriter, she is now releasing her debut music video for the single “Bien.” This french song is a sublime single that revives the French art of parisian cabaret. Aicha adds her personal touch as well as some NYC vibes to the mix, giving the overall effort a mainstream feel.
She sings beautifully and exposes her indie-pop sound for the first time to the public on “Bien,” for what seems to be the first release of many more to come. Born in Ivory Coast, she has studied at La Sorbonne, the prestigious University in Paris before moving to New York City where she currently resides.
In parallel to a successful acting career that saw Dosso as a lead in the award-winning feature BYE BYE AFRICA (as Aicha Yelena; Venice Film Festival, CinemA venice Award in the category Best First Film, Luigi De Laurentiis Award – Special Mention) and in a 2010 film CEREMONY (dir.
