Starting off his career as a model, working for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Dior, Versace and Valentino, British musician Andreww decided it was time to venture off onto new unexplored paths as he entered the music world. He refuses to be put into a genre box and instead sees music creation like an isosceles triangle made up of different influences that shifts depending upon the track. His debut Talking To Myself demonstrated this ideology effortlessly and today he’s pushing the boundaries of his sound even further as he creates a beautifully twisted metaphor.
Using Medusa, someone so hideous that the mere sight of her would turn onlookers into stone, as a representation for the chaos that comes from within a toxic relationship was a stroke of genius from the songwriter. Although everyone knew what Medusa was capable of, they still looked at her and this is the same for toxic relationships, you know the other is bad for you but you can’t bring yourself to leave them. Keep an eye on this one.
