Swollen Members, the Juno Award-winning Canadian hip-hop pioneers, have dropped a bone-chilling new track titled “Subhuman,” produced by Rob the Viking. Available on all major digital platforms starting today, “Subhuman” is a haunting fusion of bloodthirsty rhyme schemes and classic movie monster nostalgia. The production by Rob the Viking sets a brooding and ominous tone, serving as the perfect canvas for Prevail & Madchild to deliver fiercely intense rhymes filled with raw power and aggression.
“This is the third Swollen Members track from the vaults. Pulling these tracks out of the vault offered us some creative freedom to attack with no inhibitions about appealing to the masses. We weren’t worried about what the single would be or what songs could work as videos. These songs just get back to the essence of what we do,” commented Prevail. “‘This new song “Subhuman” is a return to the original Swollen Members sound. It’s Dark, it’s heavy, it’s raw & most importantly it sounds powerful.”
