This week (September 12th), Prime Video blessed fans worldwide with the official trailer for their new original movie House of Spoils. Continue reading to check out the frightening first look!

From Blumhouse, the genre-bending thriller House of Spoils follows an ambitious chef as she opens a restaurant on a remote estate where she battles kitchen chaos, crushing self-doubts…and the haunting presence of the estate’s previous owner who threatens to sabotage her at every turn.

The movie stars Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose (The Prom, West Side Story, Argylle), Barbie Ferreira (Nope, Euphoria), Arian Moayed (Madam Secretary, Succession, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Ms. Marvel), Amara Karan (The Darjeeling Limited, The Night Of, A Fantastic Fear of Everything), Mikkel Bratt Silset (Norsemen, Headhunters) and Marton Csokas (Lord of the Rings trilogy, XXX, The Equalizer).

House of Spoils was written and directed by Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy. This is the second feature film from the duo, after they previously co-directed Blow the Man Down. Cole and Krudy also served as executive producers on the film alongside Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, and Chris Dickie. Greg Gilreath, Adam Hendricks, Drew Houpt, Alex Scharfman, Lucas Joaquin, and Jason Blum were all took on producer responsibilities.

On September 21st, House of Spoils will have its world premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas. A couple short weeks later on October 3rd, the movie will be released globally on Prime Video!
