They’re unexpectedly transported through a portal into Minecraft’s iconic Overworld, a dazzling cubic land filled with Piglins, Zombies, and endless opportunities for creativity. With help from expert crafter Steve (Black), the group must embrace their imaginations to survive the challenges of this world and make their way back home.

The movie brings a dynamic creative team, including Oscar-winning VFX supervisor Dan Lemmon (The Jungle Book), BAFTA-nominated cinematographer Enrique Chediak (127 Hours), and composer Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok). Jared Hess teams up with producers Roy Lee, Mary Parent, Jason Momoa, and more to deliver a visually stunning and emotionally engaging cinematic experience.
