If anyone knows how to get crunk and have fun in a dancery, it’s the nine-time Grammy winner Mary J. Blige! Last week (April 11th), the legendary singer, songwriter, rapper, actress, and entrepreneur was seen doing just that. The Bronx native hosted a VIP event at Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins’ iconic Brooklyn Chop House NYC following her UBS arena tour stop.

The star-studded evening included unforgettable appearances from a who’s who of guests including Ne-Yo, Fabolous, DJ D-Nice, Jim Jones, Kenny Burns, Steph G, Erick Sermon, and many more! Putting an unforgettable twist on Brooklyn Chop House’s iconic “R&B Fridays,” the event kicked off what will be a month of celebrations for the New York City restaurant’s third anniversary.

Sponsored by Sun Goddess Wines and Patrón, the evening featured electrifying live performances from Mary J. Blige herself. Ne-Yo, who is currently on Blige’s ‘The For My Fans’ Tour, also graced the stage and had the whole crowd dancing. Attendees were able to take in the R&B superstars timeless music while enjoying Brooklyn Chop House’s signature Asian fusion cuisine, creating an ultimate toast to culture and three years of redefining hospitality.

In a heartfelt caption to his Instagram post, Don Pooh shared his gratitude to Mary, Ne-Yo, his execuctive, management and PR teams, servers, hosts, bartenders, everyone that dines in his establishment and makes a conscious effort to support Black owned businesses.
