We have seen several celebrity children reach significant academic milestones, with proud families and fans celebrating their achievements. Among them are Natalia Bryant, Jaidyon Phillips, and Diezel Lewis, each marking their own unique journey.
Natalia Bryant, daughter of Vanessa and the late Kobe Bryant, graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California (USC). The ceremony was particularly poignant, as Natalia paid tribute to her father by wearing a graduation sash embroidered with the message “Thank you, Mom & Dad” in USC’s colors, along with Kobe’s sheath logo—a symbol representing the journey of honing raw talent. Adding to the significance of the moment, Lakers owner Jeanie Buss personally handed Natalia her diploma, a gesture appreciated by both Vanessa and Natalia. The graduation was widely celebrated, with congratulatory messages from celebrities including Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Lisa Leslie.
Jaidyon Phillips, daughter of rapper Jadakiss, graduated from Morgan State University, an esteemed HBCU in Baltimore. While specific details about her major or honors have not been publicly disclosed, her achievement adds to the list of notable graduates making their families proud. Her dad showered her with his love and honored her with a series of photos on social media.
Diezel Lewis, son of singer Toni Braxton, earned his degree from Howard University, another prestigious HBCU. Howard’s 157th Commencement, held on May 10, 2025, was notable for being the largest in the university’s history, with over 3,200 graduates. The ceremony featured a keynote address by Emmy and Peabody Award-winning actor LeVar Burton. Toni was so grateful and called it the best Mother’s Day gift to see her son walk across the stage.
These milestones highlight the dedication and perseverance of these young individuals, as well as the support of their families. As they step into the next chapters of their lives, their accomplishments serve as inspiration to many.
