In celebration of National Small Business Month, women-led KT Winery is making bold moves to scale its reach. The Black and Asian-owned company has announced plans to expand to nearly 1,000 retail locations by the end of 2025. Read more about its newfound reach inside.

KT Winery is best known for its low-sugar, transparent wine label, Mom Juice. Based in Denver with Charlotte roots, the brand currently appears on shelves in select Target, Total Wine, Safeway, and Food City stores and is served aboard one of the world’s largest airlines.

Founded in 2020 by Kristin Taylor and Macie Mincey, KT Winery was born out of a mission to create clean, health-conscious wines that center women as both consumers and decision-makers.

“We wanted women to see themselves reflected on the shelf,” said Taylor, KT Winery CEO and Founder. “This growth is a manifestation of hard work and dreams—but also a reminder that this is just the beginning.”

KT Winery’s expansion this year includes nearly 200 new retail locations across Florida, Georgia, California, and Pennsylvania. As part of its growth strategy, the company recently closed a six-figure investment round on WeFunder, welcoming a wave of first-time female investors into its ecosystem. This move reinforces the founders’ commitment to creating generational wealth for women and people of color.

In a continued effort to elevate the company’s reach and strategic vision, KT Winery also added two powerhouse entrepreneurs to its board of advisors: Monique Rodriguez, founder of Mielle Organics, and Rachel Roff, founder of Urban Skin RX.

“We are so excited about adding more retailers and locations to the Mom Juice family,” said Mincey, who serves as Co-Founder and Head of Brand. “As women-preneurs, we aim to exceed our goals and inspire others to do the same.”

KT Winery currently offers a variety of wines, including Pinot Grigio, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, and a Red Blend. Bottled in Napa, California, the brand’s 2020 Signature Cabernet was even featured at the James Beard Foundation’s 30 Under 30 Dinner in 2022.

This Small Business Month, KT Winery isn’t just raising glasses—it’s raising the bar.
