RenderATL 2025 officially launched on Wednesday (June 11), igniting Atlanta’s Tech Square with a day of forward-thinking innovation, immersive experiences, and unapologetic cultural flair. Throughout the day, attendees from across the globe packed into Tech Square for immersive workshops, investor roundtables, and creative collisions that define RenderATL’s unique flavor. Highlights included the Investor Roundtable hosted by BLCK VC, IBM’s AI Summit, and Customer Discovery sessions with Brandy Nagel. Square powered a lively Block Party, while the ATL Small Business Mixer and RenderATL x Rivian: The Future in Motion offered a glimpse into the innovation ecosystem that Atlanta continues to build.
Retail hotspot Citizen Supply staged a takeover of the Square with custom programming and curated activations, while founders and speakers connected at exclusive events like the Speaker Mixer and the Pickup Party at The Wylie. From the jump, RenderATL proved that this wasn’t your average tech conference—it’s a cultural movement grounded in community and creativity.
But the evening’s crown jewel was the RenderATL Rooftop Kickoff, held high above the city at Skyline Park on the Ponce City Market rooftop. Sponsored by Uber and curated by AfroFuture—the global force behind Afrochella—the event fused beats, bites, and Black excellence into an electric night under the stars.
AfroFuture soundtracked the night with a genre-hopping mix of Afrobeats, hip-hop, house, and soul, creating a vibe that felt like a family reunion and festival all in one. Diaspora-inspired dishes and handcrafted cocktails were served alongside nostalgic arcade games, rooftop mini golf, and interactive brand activations—all with the Atlanta skyline as the backdrop.
From engineers and creatives to founders and investors, the rooftop party brought together a cross-section of culture shapers who are rewriting what tech looks like—and where it lives. With RenderATL 2025 just getting started, the kickoff party set the tone. It has become more than a conference, it’s a cultural reset powered by Black brilliance and Atlanta’s unstoppable energy.
RenderATL continues throughout the week with more innovation, inspiration, and unforgettable moments.
