Running since 2005 this is the biggest Ghanaian festival in the Diaspora. With native rapper Sarkodie pulling the creative strings this year, the stage is set for a cultural explosion. The event will be held at Trent Park, London, on Saturday, July 24, 2021, and hosted by marketing company, Akwaaba.

The festival which attracts over 8,000 attendees annually and is the biggest Ghanaian event outside of Ghana is supported by the Ghana High Commission United Kingdom, and Ireland. This year carrying out Sarkodie’s vision, the event is accompanied by Ghanaian music stars Yaw TOG, Kofi Jamar, Amerado, D-Black, Kwabena Kwabena, S3fa, Camidoh, Gyakie, and Mr Drew.

Chief Executive Officer Akwaaba United Kingdom, Dennis Tawiah gave the assurance that his outfit will ensure a properly planned event with all the needed security and health requirements in place especially in such a difficult time due to the coronavirus. He further stated:

This year, we are coming back with a bang and want to focus on a festival feel as the theme with more add-ons. Ghana Party in the Park is an opportunity to showcase Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and other traditional attributes as well as creating the enabling environment for all attendees to interact, network have fun.

Annually we have thousands of patrons from across the globe attending the event and we continue to deliver year after year but this edition we are going to give patrons another memorable and unforgettable experience.

Alongside fashion shows, cultural dancers, and traditional Ghanaian food, it has grown since previous years, and is “back with a bang”.
