We are inching closer and closer to the end of an era. This week (February 25th), Netflix released the second teaser trailer for the fifth and final season of their psychological thriller You. Continue reading to check it out!

You, which is based off of Caroline Kepnes’ novels, follows Joe Goldberg (played by Penn Badgley), who from the outside looking in is a charming book lover. His obsession with love and often spirals into stalking and murder. The first four seasons of the hit series have shown Joe cause chaos in New York, Los Angeles, the suburbs of San Francisco and even London. The fifth and final season brings Joe back to where it all started, the Big Apple. He aims to live his “happily ever after” with Kate (played by Charlotte Ritchie) but ghosts from his past, and his own demons threaten to unravel his life.

In addition to Badgley (John Tucker Must Die, The Young and the Restless, Gossip Girl) and Ritchie (Ghosts), the show stars Madeline Brewer (Orange Is the New Black, The Handmaid’s Tale), Anna Camp (True Blood, The Good Wife, the Pitch Perfect film series) and Griffin Matthews. Natasha Behnam, Pete Ploszek (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows), and Tom Francis ( appear is recurring roles.

The show’s co-creator Sera Gamble left as showrunner, and was replaced by established writers Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo. The duo has promised to deliver a delightfully twisted ending to the global phenomenon. Gamble and Badgley serveed as executive producers alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Leslie Morgenstein, Gina Girolamo, Marcos Siega and Neil Reynolds.
