Betty White will soon grace her own U.S. postage stamp as part of the 2025 USPS stamp series. Read more about this honorable achievement for one of Hollywood’s most cherished figures inside.

The postage stamp design has been created by digital artist Dale Stephanos and it is based on a 2010 photograph by Kwaku Alston. The stamp celebrates White’s remarkable career spanning seven decades, including her roles in “The Golden Girls” and “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” as well as her advocacy for animals.

The USPS highlighted White’s ability to connect with audiences across generations, cementing her as an icon of American television. White’s fans and peers have long admired her comedic talent, with tributes after her passing in 2021 lauding her enduring legacy. Ryan Reynolds, who worked with White on The Proposal, called her “great at defying expectation,” while President Joe Biden described her as an “American treasure.”

White passed at the age of 99 years old on Dec. 31, 2021 in Brentwood, California due to stroke she suffered from a week before. While she didn’t make it to see her 100th birthday or herself on a postage stamp, her legacy lives on through her notable works onscreen and the humor that resonates with fans across the globe.

The stamp is part of a series that will also honor cultural figures like Allen Toussaint and include designs for the Lunar New Year and Appalachian Trail. White’s addition to the collection reflects her influence not only as a performer but also as a symbol of kindness, resilience, and humor from fans across the nation and beyond.

Stay tuned for the official release date of this tribute to Betty White, a true national treasure!
