Beyoncé lit up the NFL Christmas Gameday with a spectacular halftime performance that further cemented her status as a global icon. The historic event, streamed live on Netflix from her hometown of Houston, Texas yesterday (Dec. 25). Read more about the gift that keeps on giving inside.

Beyoncé brought the holiday spirit with a mix of music, fashion, and culture for the ages during Netflix’s first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday as the Houston Texans hosted the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium live on Netflix.

The 12-minute show featured the first live performances from Beyoncé’s critically acclaimed Cowboy Carter album, which has garnered 11 Grammy nominations. The beloved singer performed chart-topping hits like “16 CARRIAGES,” “BLACKBIIRD,” and “TEXAS HOLD ’EM,” electrifying the crowd. Beyoncé ended her set in dramatic fashion, ascending to the rafters.

Guest performers added to the magic, including Shaboozey, Post Malone, and Blue Ivy Carter, who stunned as a featured dancer. The Texans Cheerleaders joined Beyoncé alongside a roster of Western and rodeo icons, such as bull-riding legend Myrtis Dightman, Jr. and Ja’Dayia Kursh, Arkansas’s first Black Rodeo Queen. This homage to Western culture was complemented by 200 members of Texas Southern University’s Ocean of Soul Marching Band, who delivered a high-energy performance showcasing their HBCU pride.

Beyoncé’s wardrobe was equally show-stopping, featuring custom designs from Lindsey James Show Clothing, Stetson hats, and Christian Louboutin boots. Styled by Shiona Turini, the ensembles reflected the Western theme, blending elegance with bold artistry.

The production, managed by Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, marked another milestone for Beyoncé, who is no stranger to iconic NFL halftime shows. Her previous performances at Super Bowls XLVII and 50 remain among the most-watched in history. Another reason she’s a legendary talent, who continues to redefine the live music experience.
