Delta Airlines is bringing Shake Shack’s signature cheeseburger experience to the skies, starting next month. Read more about this unexpected collaboration inside.

First-class passengers on select routes will be able to enjoy the iconic burger, marking a delicious evolution in Delta’s onboard dining. The collaboration focuses on Shake Shack’s classic cheeseburger with a 100 percent Angus beef patty, cheese, and a toasted potato bun. Add-ons like lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce are provided separately to maintain freshness. The meal also includes chips, a Caesar salad, and a dark chocolate brownie for dessert.

Initially, Shake Shack will be available on first-class flights from Boston over 900 miles. Eventually, the offering will expand to other routes nationwide in 2025. Passengers can pre-order through Delta’s app up to seven days before departure, ensuring customization and minimizing food waste.

Delta’s Managing Director of Onboard Service, Stephanie Laster, emphasized that burgers are already a favorite onboard, making this partnership a natural fit. Shake Shack President Michael Kark shared his excitement about reaching customers at 35,000 feet, reinforcing both brands’ commitment to innovation and exceptional hospitality.

This collaboration combines comfort food and high-quality service, setting a new standard for in-flight dining. With plans to expand, Shake Shack fans nationwide can look forward to their favorite meal in the skies. The collaboration will be available starting December 1, 2024 in flights, leaving from Boston.
