This past weekend (May 20), Cash App hosted its Cash App Bitcoin Market in Miami. Rapper Waka Flocka Flame, who’s been making headlines for his transparency about money and financial literacy, was in attendance and performed three hit songs during the pop-up event, including “No Hands,” “Grove St. Party,” and “Round of Applause.” A true bitcoin fan, Waka Flocka Flame shopped the market checking out various vendors where he could spend his bitcoin, picking up T-shirts, trying on sunglasses from Futuremood, and gifting fresh flowers to one of the older ladies at the market.
Cash App hosted its Cash App Bitcoin Market to demonstrate how easy it is to buy and use bitcoin on its platform. Attendees were gifted up to $20 in bitcoin to use on a variety of goods from trending local and national brands.
The Cash App Bitcoin Market featured products from vendors including Lyrical Lemonade, Futuremood, Liger’s, CFDA Winner Luar, Vacation Inc, Iris Tattoo Miami, Vanity Projects, Panther Coffee, and various vendors from Magic City Flea. The Market also served an array of delicious treats from Miami’s very own Smorgasburg including Mao’s Baos, Arancinus, Futurstica, Italian Vice, and more.
