2. Isaac Dunbar – Take It Slow

Source:Isaac Dunbar

Hot off the heels of his critically praised EP release, Isaac Dunbar returns with the release of “Take It Slow,” out now via RCA Records.

The surprise release follows Isaac’s teasing of the song on TikTok, which quickly went viral on the platform. When discussing the release, Isaac noted, ‘Take It Slow’ is the first extension of ‘Beep Beep Repeat.’ It’s about that man who lovebombed you and was way too clingy way too fast. I want every DJ in the world to play this in gay clubs one day.”

This April, the 21-year-old pop prodigy released his latest EP, Beep Beep Repeat, driven by his time living in New York. Influenced by the sounds and energy of the city’s vibrant club scene, Beep Beep Repeat is a propulsive and playful offering from the rising pop star, featuring singles “Apartment A,” “Backseat Girl,” and “American High,” as well as the euphoric “I Love to Dance,” co-written by bloghouse icon Uffie.

The project was praised by Billboard, noting “‘Beep Beep Repeat’ invites you to disengage from our stark reality and simply revel in some good old-fashioned house parties, hangovers and heartpounding rhythms.” Ones To Watch called the project a “dazzlingly indulgent pop journey,” while Queerty noted the release is “a trip you won’t want to miss.”

Isaac celebrated the project with a series of sold-out shows in New York, Los Angeles, and London, as well as a performance at this year’s LA Pride in the Park. To close out Pride Month, Isaac also released a live performance of “American High” joined by the London Gay Men’s Chorus, which was premiered by GLAAD.

3. Zeddy Will ft. BabyFxce E – Can’t Go Broke

Source:Zeddy Will

The youthful Zeddy Will returns on a serious note with his latest single, “Can’t Go Broke,” featuring Babyfxce E. In the song, Zeddy Will proclaims that he prefers to stay out of the mix and that it’s impossible for him to go broke. Zeddy confronts how people want to start drama with him, but he would rather focus on his personal goals than flip out at a studio over the petty drama.

He raps, “Bad B*****s in the B&B, I’m okay with that. N*****s hear your song and turn it off, we don’t play it back. I’m waiting on my money, why you playing? Just pay it back.  And no we not together, why the fuck you saying together?” Bxbyface E, who has 270k followers on Instagram, provides a verse about how he runs up a check and stays out of the mix.

4. Rema – HEIS

Source:Rema

HEIS comes on the heels of recent surprise drops including the dynamic “BENIN BOYS” featuring fellow Nigerian star Shalipoppi as well as the braggadocious “HEHEHE” on which Rema delivers a bold and unapologetic response to critics. The album follows these themes throughout with Rema flexing his award-winning penmanship across heavy percussion and rhythmic melodies — a nod to the roots of Afrobeats. The chosen drum patterns and cadence distinctly showcase his heritage, continuing his mission to connect listeners with his origins. A conscious stylistic choice, HEIS is an exploration of the genre pioneered by luminaries that came before him but made new through the use of sampling (“VILLAIN”, Lana Del Rey) and modern instrumentation.

The 24 year old producer and artist is currently on a massive Summer festival run having already played in Spain, Romania, Portugal and France. He will play Wireless Festival this weekend in London and make his way Stateside to headline the inaugural Afro Nation Festival in Detroit, Michigan.

6. Oliver Cronin – In The End

Source:Oliver Cronin

Rising Australian pop artist Oliver Cronin is gearing up  to release the vulnerable new fan-track “In The End” via Warner Music Australia/Warner Records. The soaring mid-tempo ballad is dark with a touch of optimism while he sings “it all gets better in the end”.

“Earlier this year I went on a two month trip around the world to showcase my music. When I came home I found myself reminiscing on times where I was broken, times I hit rock bottom, times I thought my career was over. If I’ve learnt one thing, it’s that no matter how bad it gets – it will always get better in the end… I wanted to write a song that represents the light at the end of the tunnel, a healing anthem if you will” says Oliver of the track.

7. YDE – Free Fall

YDE - Free Fall

Source:YDE

Making a bold return, pop music’s triple threat (singer/songwriter, producer, actress) YDE (pronounced EE-dee) is back with an irresistible new single entitled “Free Fall” out via Facet Records/Warner Records. On the track, wailing guitar gives way to a glassy and glitchy beat punctuated by glistening keys. Her breathy intonation practically melts into the production until the momentum picks up on the chorus, “Because I love you like a free fall, hit you like a hurricane, need you like…” It illuminates the nuances of her ever-evolving signature style.

YDE’s SEND HELP EP originally arrived in 2022 and has earned widespread critical acclaim. NYLON applauded “the project’s inquisitive and emotional world,” and Flaunt proclaimed, “With soft and subtle transitions between each track, the artist carefully weaves together a story of love, life, and identity.” Billboard hailed the single “People Can Change” as “touching.” Meanwhile, OnesToWatch attested, “wow did those skills come to fruition in SEND HELP, a saucy affair that is equal parts riveting, subtle, and complex.”

8. Jive Talk – Vacation

Source:Jive Talk

Today, buzzing Nashville alternative band Jive Talk share a dynamic and dreamy new single entitled “Vacation” out now via War Buddha/Warner Records. The track will be included on the band’s debut album, Vacation, which is set for release on Friday, September 6. Pre order HERE

On “Vacation,” Jive Talk evoke escapist vibes through their kaleidoscopic take on alternative pop anchored by eighties melodies, indie rock experimentation, and future-facing sheen. Shimmering neon keys pulsate through the song’s steady beat, while glassy guitar gives way to breathy and delicate vocals. Pinned to a toe-tapping bassline, the soaring chorus swoons, “And no, I didn’t need it now.” Once again, the single illuminates the scope of the group’s signature style.

Remaining prolific, it lands in the wake of “Sally” and “Rat People.” The band recently hit  the stage at Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN  following a cross-country tour. WNSM Radio states, “I think they might be addictive. I’m ready to drop everything – and you should too – to follow Jive Talk on tour… If this is a cult, sign me up.”

9. Cassadee Pope – Hereditary

Source:Cassadee Pope

GRAMMY-nominated, Platinum-certified singer-songwriter Cassadee Pope’s has released her album, Hereditary.

As the voice behind the iconic 2000s pop punk group Hey Monday, Hereditary marks The Voice winner’s first full length following her shift from country back to her pop punk roots. The album  can be heard as an emotional rollercoaster ride through the ups and downs of life, love and self-discovery. Each track is a testament to the journey we embark on, shaped by our upbringing and the legacies passed down through generations. Whether that’s love, betrayal or the intricate web of family dynamics, the title Hereditary captures the essence of our roots, the echoes of our past and the quest to carve our own path.

Cassadee shares, “My new album Hereditary offers a soundtrack to navigate the complexities of life with authenticity and courage. I couldn’t think of a better backdrop for these lyrics than pop/punk and I hope this album gives people permission to feel everything!”

Most recently, she released a single and music video for “Three of Us” was released earlier this week in support of Mental Health Month, as she invites listeners to confront the darkness of addiction and embrace the power of empathy, compassion and community. Pre-Save Hereditary here to access exclusive BTS clip from the making of “Three of Us”

Cassadee’s journey back to pop punk began with the release of the vulnerable track `People That I Love Leave ” last year, which welcomed her warmly back into the community that shaped her. Previous single, “Eye Contact ” divulges on experiences of betrayal and its lasting impacts, reminding us that healing isn’t linear but is possible. Listen to “Eye Contact” here: https://orcd.co/eyecontactcp

But through it all – the Warped Tour parking lots, tours with Fall Out Boy and Yellowcard, CMT Awards and chart-topping singles – she’s always remained fearlessly, unapologetically herself. 15 years into her career,  her confessional writing continues to redefine her place as a pop punk mainstay as she enters this renaissance with a new found sense of freedom.

Cassadee will be hitting the road on her U.S. Headlining Tour this summer, let me know if you’d like to catch her at a date near you. Full details can be found here: https://conta.cc/4bnRliY

10. Jutes – It’s Me Again

Source:Jutes

Today, Ottawa-via-LA rock/pop artist and songwriter Jutes releases his newest single, “It’s Me Again,” alongside an acoustic version of “Sleepyhead,” marking the completion of his ‘Sleepyhead’ EP.  “It’s Me Again” delves into Jutes’ personal journey, exploring his past battle with addiction. Now sober, he channels his experiences into powerful storytelling to connect with listeners who may relate to his journey and find healing through his music.

Produced by Keith Sorrells (Demi Lovato, Alessia Cara) and Alex Niceforo (John Legend, Rita Ora) of The Orphanage, “It’s Me Again” blends intense rock melodies with heartfelt emotions and powerful vocals. This single isn’t just about music—it’s about honesty and the power of sharing one’s story.

“‘It’s Me Again’ was an important song to close out the EP with as it touches on my past struggles with addiction,” explains Jutes. “In my darker days, my friend and I used to call the devil on our shoulder ‘Mr Frost.’ He would show up when we were trying to get clean. I wrote this thinking about him showing up every time I was feeling weak and thinking about falling off the wagon again.”

“It’s Me Again” & “Sleepyhead (Acoustic)” arrive off the heels of “Theraflu” and “Sleepyhead” rounding out the EP. “Sleepyhead,” his fastest growing song to date, streamed over 100,000 streams per day within just a few weeks of release. The track has accumulated over 4 million streams to date. Set to impact radio later this July, “Sleepyhead” has been featured on Spotify’s top editorial playlists including “The New Alt” and “New Noise” solidifying Jutes as one of music’s most exciting artists of 2024.

12. Ben Böhmer ft. Lykee Li – Hiding

Source:Ben Böhmer

Today, Ben Böhmer and Lykke Li, two award-winning musicians who have carved out their own distinct lanes in music, deliver a shimmering collaboration with “Hiding,” the second single on Böhmer’s studio album, Bloom, out on September 27 via Ninja Tune.

An immaculate meeting point between indie, pop, and electronica, “Hiding” is flooded with Ben’s lush pads and triumphant melodies, while Lykke Li’s iconic vocals wash over crisp breakbeats. “It’s a song that I’ve always wanted to write” Ben remarks on the new release. The single continues to forge Ben’s path beyond the pre-fabricated boxes that he’s been put into as an artist, earning the trust of indie royalty such as Lykke Li. A rare feature, “Hiding” is her first original collaboration since 2019.

Throughout her 20+-year career, Li has worked with artists such as Drake, U2, Skrillex, and Mark Ronson, who once called her the “high priestess of heartbreak and sadness.” She’s earned multiple Grammis in Sweden and is among the most heralded names in indie pop by the most trusted names in music, such as Billboard, Pitchfork, NME, and The Guardian. Her music has soundtracked films, including Twilight; she has also acted in the crime thriller Tommy and Terrence Malick’s Song to Song.

Ben is fresh off several major performances, including festivals such as Sonar by Night and Electric Forest, and serving as direct support for ODESZA at The Gorge, BMO Stadium, and Madison Square Garden. Looking ahead, he’ll round out his North American tour with stops at Lollapalooza and Portola before embarking on an Australian tour, where he’ll perform in music halls across Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. Then, he’ll head back to Europe for a string of fall shows, including a stop at the Great Hall of Alexandra Palace.

Ben’s music and live performances have earned him widespread acclaim from fans and tastemakers alike. In 2023, he completed the biggest-ever North American live touring run while reaching 3.6 million monthly Spotify listeners. His Cercle set has surpassed 32 million views and is now one of the top 10 most-viewed electronic music sets of all time on YouTube. He’s shared festival stage bills with the likes of Caribou, Four Tet, Bicep, Jamie xx, and Amelie Lens, and in 2022, launched Portraet, his four-night residency at the open-air Ibiza club Cova Santa, enlisting Barry Can’t Swim, HAAi, Sofia Kourtesis and more to play alongside him.

Following the massive success of his previous records, which notched nearly 1 billion streams, Ben found himself being pulled in a direction that wasn’t him. Life on the road took him away from the things that mattered most to him (200+ shows in 2022). Bloom is a reset, a confident reassertion of his own desires and more improvisational origins. Ben’s composing and songwriting talents extend to the foreground alongside Lykke Li, Oh Wonder, Enfant Sauvage (of the French duo The Blaze), JONAH (who was featured on the previous single “Best Life”), and more.

13. Orion Son – Mary Jane

Source:orion son

Today, the acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer, Orion Sun announces her highly anticipated new self-titled album, Orion, is slated for release on September 20th via Mom + Pop. In celebration, she shares the new single from the project “Mary Jane” and a moving visual. The album serves as Orion’s first offering following a two year hiatus, resulting in a deeply palpable body of work that will undeniably establish the young Orion as a major force in the music area and one of today’s most essential artists.

“Mary Jane” reveals a striking new chapter in Orion’s personal life and creative journey, one that is housed within the dynamic walls of Orion. Sonically, the track showcases the evolution of Orion’s ethereal, boundless sound front and center, resulting in her best work to date. Enveloped through a strong connection to nature that runs deep throughout the album, “Mary Jane” begins to tell a journey of love and incredible hardship and joy that it can bring. Through an earnest exploration and surrender to love, she brilliantly soundtracks a spellbinding coming of age story. Here we see Orion like we’ve never seen or heard her before.

Orion has impressively achieved extraordinary feats rarely seen amongst the realm of independent artists. She consistently clocks in over 5 million monthly streams on Spotify alone out of an album cycle, managing to soar to meteoric heights during the pandemic, a time that proved difficult for many artists. Additionally, the young artist’s star has continued to rise as she opened for Daniel Caesar’s Superpowers World Tour in 2023 and she recently earned a staggering writing credit on Bryson Tiller’s explosive track “Whatever She Wants” that sampled her song “Intro” from her breakout Getaway EP. Earlier this year, Orion was also featured artist on the track “ItsNotREEAALLLLLLLL” on Fred Again..’s new critically acclaimed album USB alongside some music’s most beloved artists such as Baby Keem, Lil Yachty, Four Tet, Future, Nia Archives, Romy, Skrillex and others.

ORION SUN ON “MARY JANE”:

“This song is about coping and facing fear head on. I lean hard on my vices when it feels like the world it’s falling from the sky. It helps you escape for a while, but no matter where you go, you can’t run from yourself. I had to face my fears eventually, and I’m glad I did.”

14. KVtheWriter ft. Mai Lee & Reggie Son – Figure Out The Rest (Remix)

Source:KVtheWriter

Before she headlines Festival of Nations at Tower Grove Park next month and delivers the re-release of her debut LP ‘FRIENDZ,’ Mai Lee (@maileemusic) joins KVTheWriter (@KVtheWriter) on the official remix to her Reggie Son (@shortyshowlove) assisted track “Figure Out The Rest.” The STL posse cut finds the trio trading soulful verses about the 314 and all it’s allure over melodic guitar strums.

I enjoyed sharing my artistry with KVtheWriter and Reggie Son. It was my first time working with them and I loved the experience. The song’s production is unique and allows each artist to stand out on the song. I felt like I gave St. Louis a bit of sexy sauce with my vocals,” say’s Lee speaking on the collaboration exclusively in a press statement.

A medley of the people and places she represents, Mai Lee transcends the boundaries of music and fashion. Growing up in Missouri, the seasoned singer has always had music on her mind and in her heart. Attending performing arts schools during her youth, she uses those experiences to create a unique genre blending sound. Known for her intoxicating and soulful vocals, Mai Lee has shared the stage with artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, 2 Chainz, Fetty Wap, Estelle, and Busta Rhymes, performing in front of an audience of 20K+ people.
While you may hear some familiar influences in her sound, Mai Lee notes her parents as her biggest inspirations for her music career. Fleeing from Vietnam in 1978 during the Vietnam War, Lee’s parents migrated through multiple refugee camps over the years before calling St. Louis their home. They opened up the first Vietnamese and Chinese Restaurant, Mai Lee Restaurant, a local staple in the city. The restaurant was built from absolutely nothing and ended up becoming the blueprint. Watching them work hard towards their dreams gave her the hustle and grit to pursue her dreams.

15. GAWVI – ATMOSTFEAR

Source:Gawvi

Following a show-stopping set at Explo Music Festival in Guatemala, 2x RIAA Certified Gold instrumentalist turned recording artist GAWVI releases his fourth studio album ATMOSTFEAR. Composed of 14 self-produced tracks – including Into The Atmostfear,” “Doors Down” and “Bitter Pill” – the project has already amassed over half a million streams in less than a week’s time. Posed to be his most successful body of work to date, the project serves as his sonic testimony from defeat to triumph and includes guest appearances by Wxlf, Indiomar, Musiko, and Ty Brasel.

“I praise God in the name of Jesus for equipping me with what it took to make this. I am beyond grateful for everyone who was a part of the process. My family and close friends really know what this album means to me. The amount of stories y’all have shared in the DMs and comments have been mind blowing. Crazy to see how many people have felt alone during this journey. People that have felt left behind by the ones they thought would show up. People sharing they didn’t think God would want to use them again because of past failures. This is what makes it all worth the bigger picture,” the Florida native details in an exclusive press statement to Medium Creative Agency about ATMOSTFEAR significance.

Born in the Bronx borough of New York City to a Salvadorian father and Dominican mother, GAWVI is a first-generation Latino immigrant on a mission to use Rap as a unity building medium. Raised in Broward County along with his older sister, who was the first person to embrace his passion for music, he split most of his time as a kid between school and church. At the age of 9 it was clear to him that music was not just something he had a high appreciation for but a purpose to live out. He began to hone in on his musical gifts, first by playing piano at church and then graduating to music production in High School.

Sighting Kanye West’s The College Dropout as the catalyst for him to jump from behind the bandstand and into the booth, the pivotal moment in time gave him the motivation to foster a genre of Hip-Hop with morals and integrity. With just over 20 years of skin in the game, he credits a local artist named Danny for giving him his first big break in the industry after purchasing a beat from him. Fast forward, after mastering his craft and paying his dues, he connected with Lecrae and has been a force to be reckoned with since.

20. Asia Chow – The Sleeping Dog

Source:Asia Chow

New to the indie-folk scene, but already mesmerizingly timeless, Los Angeles’ Asia Chow today releases her third single “The Sleeping Dog.” Viewed through the lens of her dog Aba’s unwavering contentment, Chow learns how to be more present in the moment. Guided by a slide guitar and her ember-like, full-bodied vibrato, “The Sleeping Dog” feels like a bar song known only by the locals, meant to be queued up between Linda Ronstadt and Neil Young — Stream

“My toxic personality trait is that I must acknowledge every dog that I come across. It’s almost concerning how much I love dogs, shares Chow. “Anyways, I was looking at my dog one day; she looked extra cute and peaceful. I thought about how grateful I was to know her and love her and how she teaches me to be more present and live in the moment. I wrote the song while I was thinking about all that. It had been a goal of mine to write more songs that were not sad girl vibes and it makes a lot of sense that one of them would be inspired by my iconic dog. Love her!”

Pooling together the efforts of her friends and family, today’s official video is a compilation of clips of man’s best friend going about life. It only seems natural that Chow would combine her two greatest passions, music and dogs, as an exercise in grounding herself.

Asia Chow stepped triumphantly out into the indie-folk scene with her debut single “Days Unchanged” at the end of 2023. Her first delicate and confessional offering won the praise of Vogue China and Flaunt, as well as editorial support on Spotify’s Fresh Folk and Today’s Singer-Songwriters, as well as Apple Music’s Breaking Singer-Songwriter and Acoustic Memories. She followed up her first release with a forlorn folk rework of The Weeknd’s “Save Your Tears.” Relying on her own tenacity and creative community that surrounds her, Chow’s first releases have created ripples much larger than she could have initially imagined.

Preceded by her successful modeling career, Chow always felt the pull to create music. First picking up the guitar in high school, she typically kept her music making isolated to the confines of her bedroom. Like many of us, the global pandemic made her rethink a lot of things and come to the conclusion that she didn’t want to live a life without ever taking a serious swing at a music career. Fearing that her shyness made her seem closed off, music has always felt like her most direct form of communication.

21. Dua Saleh – want

Source:Dua Saleh

Today the multidisciplinary Sudanese-American artist Dua Saleh (they/them) announces their highly anticipated debut album, I SHOULD CALL THEM, slated for release on October 11th via Ghostly International. In celebration, they share their newest single from the album titled “want,” which follows “unruly” featuring serpentwithfeet, and further reveals a new era sonically and personally. Showcasing Saleh’s staggering prowess as a singer, songwriter, and sonic architect, I SHOULD CALL THEM houses a collection of R&B-infused electronic indie-pop songs that portray the spiritual power, resilience, and joy of love found between two star crossed lovers. Equal parts imaginative and lived-through, it’s a statement record only Saleh could make.

The album features striking collaborations with Gallant, serpentwithfeet, Sid Sriram, and Ambré, and production contributions from highly acclaimed Grammy nominated producers such as Rogét Chahayed (Travis Scott, Jack Harlow, Khalid, Doja Cat), Biako (Fousheé, Yuna, Jean Dawson), Stint (Carly Rae Jepsen, Kesha), and 1Mind (Juice WRLD, Don Toliver, Lil Yachty). It serves as Saleh’s first body of work since their contribution as a co-writer for Travis Scott’s UTOPIA track ‘MY EYES’ (alongside Justin Vernon and Sampha), returning to their breakout role in the Netflix series Sex Education, and taking the cover of GAY TIMES as their 2023 Rising Star in Music honour recipient. Here Saleh shapes their most vulnerable work to date, an apocalyptic narrative informed by environmental anxieties and their experiences as a lover, holding personal truth and hope amidst chaos.

Throughout I SHOULD CALL THEM, Saleh is elastic in how they use their voice and tune the scenery to love’s sweetness and the moments that challenge it. “want” uses straightforward R&B rock elements to underscore feelings of betrayal and resignation. The song speaks to the deeply universal experience of falling into destructive relationships, or more often than not, situationships that go against one’s better judgment but can ultimately be part of a larger journey of discovering one’s self-worth. The companion video directed by Grant Spanier captures the perplexing sentiment of the song as Saleh explores their desire to be lovers with someone struggling with toxic tendencies, grappling with the challenging union while also honoring the special bond between the two lovers that leads to Dua powerfully arriving to self.

I SHOULD CALL THEM is available for pre-order today HERE

DUA SALEH ON “want”:

“‘want’ is a song about toxic on-again, off-again situationships. It’s an anthem for those relationships that might not happen at the right time but feel so right that you go against your intuition. It’s about discovering self-worth, but still wanting to lean into that cheeky naughtiness.”

22. Zubi – Nepa

Zubi - Nepa

Source:Zubi

NEPA’ is the exquisite slow-burning new single from London-based alternative soul sensation ZUBI as he gears towards the release of his eagerly anticipated forthcoming album Ghost of the Buj. The fiery and deeply emotive ballad comes on the back of last autumn’s critically acclaimed Journey To Idan project, which saw the Nigerian native garner rave reviews and critical acclaim from the likes of Clash Magazine, Earmilk, Notion Magazine, and GQ South Africa, among others. Written and composed by Zubi, ‘Nepa’ is a fiery and deeply emotive anthem, driven by the anguish of betrayal and the desire for retribution.

Driven by evocative and hard-hitting lyrics that reveal an angry and hurt Zubi who has just felt the sting of a lover’s betrayal, and his seething vocal performance calling for retribution and vengeance, ‘NEPA’ paints a vivid picture of the complexities of human emotions, and the tumultuous journey it often takes us to navigate through pain and anger. The song delves deeper into the multifaceted nature of betrayal, offering more than just a narrative of vengeance. It provides a cathartic release for anyone who has endured the agony of deceit, reminding them they are not alone in their suffering.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind his new track ‘NEPA’, Zubi shares, “this song is inspired by a deeply personal experience of betrayal by someone I deeply cared for. It left me feeling a profound sense of anger and hurt. I felt like I deserved some form of compensation or acknowledgment for the emotional turmoil I endured. To cope with these intense emotions, I turned to music as my sanctuary and therapeutic outlet. Creating this song was a therapeutic process for me, allowing me to channel all my feelings of betrayal, anger, and hurt into something that could express and process those emotions”.

As we navigate through life, we learn, we grow, and we crave companionship. We meet people who impact us profoundly, and in turn, we leave our mark on them. Strangers become integral parts of our story. This collection of experiences is what makes our life, and what makes it beautiful. This EP marks the beginning of a series of city-themed projects I’ve always envisioned, and I’m excited to share this journey with you. I hope this particular project brings a piece of Parisian magic into your lives”.

When I began writing my forthcoming record, I knew I had to include this song so I updated the production to fit my current style and changed a few lyrics and I’m so proud of how it turned out.”

He adds “‘YOU’ captures the balance I’ve tried to strike in my career between representing my culture authentically while also making music for everyone. I wrote this song so long ago that I don’t even remember who I wrote it about but wherever he is, I hope he’s happy.

As Clennon leads with expressive moves, the visuals oscillate between the intimate setting of the bedroom and the freedom of the beach, capturing the tug-of-war of the artist’s desires. The video as a whole explores the story of a future of Jamaica visited by otherworldly beings on a mission to teach love, kindness, and tolerance.

Yesterday, just before the album’s release, the duo released a new video for “San Dimas” featuring G Perico and Honda Carter as Worthy and crew ride out in one of the old-schools from his extensive classic car collection. 35. Lillian Hepler – Famous

Source:Lillian Hepler

Rising pop star Lillian Hepler reveals her new single, “Famous.” Following her recent hit singles, “Call Me Yours,” “IDK Her,” and “House of Lies,” “Famous” cements Lillian Hepler’s status as one of pop music’s most promising newcomers.

“Famous” is a stunning showcase of Lillian’s expansive, soul-stirring vocals. Accompanied by captivating and carefully crafted production, the new single is an explosive yet tender anthem about rising from the ashes of heartbreak.

This song was born out of frustration as to how a lot of relationships tend to go these days,” she says. “You meet someone, plan a future together, and then all hell breaks loose, they betray you, and you’re left watching this person move on without you. It feels like you’re always the bad guy and that they never have to face the consequences for the things they’ve said and done. But, the best revenge is actually just moving on and never having their name come out of your mouth again. People can only take credit if you give it to them, and I don’t like giving people who have hurt me the satisfaction of that. Instead, I just pretend they never existed.”

Lillian Hepler sings the stories many of us are afraid of telling. Born and raised in Utah, the LA-based artist knew she wanted to be a performer at a young age. She began uploading covers at 13 and writing original songs by 15, accumulating millions of streams with singles like “Nightmare” and “Easy” and garnering over 2 million followers on TikTok. Since the release of her debut single, Lillian has been deftly working on her artistry, ensuring the essence of who she is comes through in her music. Now, at 22, she’s finally achieved that feat, as she embarks on the next chapter of her story.

A dynamic and versatile pop artist, she weaves her own experiences into her songs, conveying the kaleidoscope of emotions she’s sifted through. Written in a stream-of-consciousness style, as if the tracks were lifted straight from her diary, her new material touches on everything from a friendship breakup to being blindsided by an ex. Lillian’s music showcases her ability to astutely share her own story while making it something that anyone with as big a heart as hers can relate to.

The high-energy track is the latest cut from Peck’s upcoming duets album Stampede, which arrives August 2.

“Death Valley High” follows closely on the heels of “Midnight Ride,” Peck’s dance-floor ready anthem alongside Kylie Minogue and Diplo. Prior to that, he linked with Willie Nelson, Elton John, Noah Cyrus, Midland, Allison Russell, Nathaniel Rateliff, and Bu Cuaron on Stampede: Vol 1. Additional collaborators on Stampede include Teddy Swims, Margo Price, Mickey Guyton, Debbii Dawson, TJ Osborne, Waylon Payne, Fancy Hagood and Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway.

37. Valley – Bass Player’s Brother

Source:This Is Valley

Today, the three-piece alternative-pop band Valley, comprised of Rob Laska (lead vocals, guitar), Alex Dimauro (bass), and Karah James (vocals, drums), release “Bass Player’s Brother.” This infectious, drum-driven track features dreamy synths and grooves, all the while telling the story of a toxic, ever-repeating relationship. The song drops on the heels of the singles “When You Know Someone” and the album’s title track “Water The Flowers, Pray For A Garden,” with the full album set to arrive on August 30 through Capitol Records/Universal Music Canada.

In the band’s words,“‘Bass Player’s Brother’ is a song about cyclical love and obsession. In life we often find ourselves in realities that don’t suit our truth, yet we continue to drag ourselves back to the feeling of staying for love’s sake. It’s cyclical in nature yet rooted in heartache and hurt. It’s the back-and-forth outcome of these habits that cause us to stay when we know we should leave. This is the only song on the album where we didn’t reference real names. Sometimes we like to play characters in songs even though we’re always thinking about someone in our lives. We wanted to paint a picture of a classic Americana heartbreak love story.”

They continue, “We wrote the song after getting stranded in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was a wild week. Mickey had just left the band, we didn’t sleep at all, we were in a city where we knew no one — it was the lowest point of the album making process. Chase [Lawrence of COIN] ended up driving to meet us in Charlotte, we rented a house and just started writing. The song started with us giving up on writing one (as most good ones do). You can really hear us trying to have fun with this song (and dis-attach from what we were going through)”

“Once we brought it back to the cabin, we really tried to let the loose, plug and play nature of the song shine through like it’s Valley playing in a room together when we started as teenagers. It’s a bit of an escape on the album as the rest of the songs dive into stages of grief and the past year of our lives a lot deeper.”

Water the Flowers, Pray For A Garden is a brave exploration of the full spectrum of emotions with an invitation to also surrender control and trust the process. Recorded over the span of a month in the Smoky Mountains and produced by COIN’s Chase Lawrence, Valley captures a specific moment in time. Through embracing the transformative power of death and rebirth, the band finds themselves reinvented and the most inspired they have felt thus far in their careers.

In addition to the summer festival appearances and Canadian shows with friends The Beaches, Dizzy and Arkells, Valley have announced their Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden North American headlining tour spanning coast to coast in the US and Canada. The tour includes shows at iconic venues and some of the biggest rooms they’ve played to date, including Brooklyn Steel in New York, The Wiltern in Los Angeles, History in Toronto and more. 38. d4vd – There Goes My Baby

Source:d4vd

Today, 19-year-old visionary artist d4vd releases his brand-new single “There Goes My Baby.” The track comes in the midst of his highly successful, fully sold-out “My House Is Not A Home” international headline tour, currently trekking through Europe. LISTEN HERE.

“There Goes My Baby” once again sees d4vd experimenting with a different sound amplifying his genre malleability, this time in the form of a stripped-back, beautifully crafted love ballad. With beautiful vocal work front and center with a gentle acoustic guitar melody propelling the song forward, the track bleeds raw emotion as d4vd sings of a one-of-a-kind heartbreak that comes with losing the one you love to someone else, singing “Are you sure that you want more, If it’s from him, why did you waste all my time, You were bored and I was alone, Feels like someone’s taking my life.” d4vd has been performing the track throughout his recent run of tour dates and the track ushers in the next chapter in his musical journey – a consistent cadence of singles to come throughout 2024 in the leadup to his highly anticipated debut album.

On “There Goes My Baby,” d4vd shares: “This is a song I wrote about letting go of someone you love and letting them become their own person. Watching them become that person and realizing that you may have been the problem, but also being happy for the person they’ve become. It’s a mature view on losing someone to someone else.”

d4vd has been on a roll in 2024. His summer headline “My House is Not a Home” Tour currently finds him in Europe after a sold-out North American Leg, which saw performances in Toronto, New York, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles (with a third show added and sold-out from high demand), to wrap later this summer with a highly anticipated set at Lollapalooza in August. He just opened for SZA this past week at Malahide Castle in Dublin, Ireland and graced expansive festival stages at Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, and Boston Calling, all coming hot off the heels of an electrifying surprise set in his hometown of Houston at White Oak Music Hall – which sold out minutes upon announcement.

39. Chikoruss – RaRa

Montreal R&B phenom Chikoruss continues his R&Bounce movement with new track “RaRa” out now via 300 Entertainment. The Canadian crooner is owning summer with a string of lively releases including “All On Me” which UPROXX deemed “perfect for summer” and “USC.” His label-debut single “In 2 Deep” has reeled in millions of Spotify streams and earned critical acclaim, Rated R&B applauded how “‘In 2 Deep’ immediately transports listeners to the 2000s,” and Billboard Canada named it among their weekly “Fresh Sounds Canada” and raved, “With its catchy repeating riff and smooth ladies’ man vocals, his new single could easily fit between Mario and B2K on a BET playlist.” The Recording Academy welcomed him to its prestigious “Press Play” series where he delivered a stunning acoustic rendition of the track.

40. Trousdale – Out Of My Mind (Deluxe)

Source:Trousdale Music

Guided by their unbreakable friendship and three-part harmonies, LA folk-pop band Trousdale today release Out Of My Mind Deluxe. Vastly expanding their debut offering, the deluxe includes live renditions of their tracks recorded at LA’s legendary El Rey Theatre, features from Ben Abraham and BAILEN, and covers of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” and One Direction’s “Night Changes” recorded for Sirius XM — Stream.

The trio, built up by Quinn D’Andrea, Georgia Greene, and Lauren Jones, shaped the tracks from the original version of Out of My Mind over the course of two years, spread between sessions in Nashville, sessions at singer-songwriter Jon Bellion’s house in Long Island, and time bouncing between the three members’ homes. Making sure they maintained their hand in the recording and production process, the group opted for home studios, returning to the comfort and intimacy of the process that they’d honed at school in California.

“The real Trousdale sound got its legs when the three of us became heavily involved in the production of our music,” shares Lauren Jones. “The expectations and standards for women are always higher than those of men, and the world of music production is no different. Young girls that show an aptitude for music are more often pushed to be performers than men, which is another reason why there are way more women artists that also produce than there are women producers. Male collaborators get more credit than they’re worth, and then they get hired and rehired to do more projects that gain them more credibility in the field and more money.”

Quinn D’Andrea adds that their opportunity to connect with young women is a particular point of pride. “More than anything I love going on the road and seeing young women connecting to the power of music and telling your story on your own terms,” she says. “Our friendship and acceptance of each other holds us together, and I think that brings our fans together as well.” A wheel that keeps on turning, the music fuels the friendship, and the friendship fuels the music. Since formation, Trousdale has amassed over 75 million streams worldwide.

Today’s album arrives with a live video of Trousdale’s cover of “The Chain.” A few weeks back, the trio also released a video for fan-favorite “Point Your Finger,” where they can be seen raising hell in a billiards bar.

Coming to a close at the end of June, Trousdale tied a bow on the Still Out Of My Mind Tour. Along with their headline dates, the band supported The Teskey Brothers, made monumental debuts at Bonnaroo and Green River Festival, and joined the star-studded Dashboard Confessional Emo Superjam lineup while at Bonnaroo. Most recently, the band announced that they will be playing the Hudson Yards Summer Concert Series in NYC before heading out on tour in support of Glen Hansard. See all dates here

43. LL COOL J – Paasion

Source:LL COOL J

Today, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, two-time Grammy Award-winning Hip-Hop icon, Kennedy Center Honoree, actor, author, NAACP Image Award winner, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and founder and CEO of Rock The Bells, LL COOL J announced his 14th studio album The FORCE (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy), to be released on Friday, September 6th via Def Jam Recordings / Virgin Music Group. The highly anticipated 14-track record features Nas, Eminem, Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Saweetie, Snoop Dogg, Don Pablito, J-S.A.N.D., Mad Squablz, and Sona Jobarteh.

The FORCE is available to pre-order and pre-save now through the link HERE.

The FORCE, LL’s first new album in more than a decade, is a potent reminder of just how visceral his music can be. Produced in its entirety by A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip, The FORCE (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) represents years of intense work, which the Queens emcee likens to “learning how to rap again.” “It’s like a director going back to film school after he’s had blockbusters,” LL says, or “Denzel going back to acting class.” The result is an album that sounds thoroughly modern—full of razor-sharp writing and nimble, elastic vocals—but rooted in a rich tradition. With The FORCE, LL returns to the music scene to show fans that an artist of his status can continue to achieve greatness so many years later.

The album highlights new music styles from LL, all with the lyrical and conceptual genius one can always expect from him. The FORCE covers heady topical themes like racial injustice, law enforcement abuses, isolation and observations brought on by the pandemic, legacy, and musings on LL’s place in the canon, while remaining vital, fun, and some of LL’s most urgent lyrical work. With his 14th studio album, LL offers a roadmap for the terrain an entire genre and culture might soon be inspired enough to explore.

“We’re talking 14 tracks of straight fire, all crafted by myself and the one and only Q-Tip,” LL said. “When you listen to this album, you’re not just hearing music, you’re experiencing a whole new vibe, a whole new level of artistic passion.”

Riding the wave of the first single “Saturday Night Special” featuring Rick Ross and Fat Joe, today, LL also released the second track from The FORCE, “Passion.” Listen to the new track HERE and watch the official music video HERE. Kicking off with the sounds of static electricity trapped inside the vinyl, “Passion” features a dynamic beat as LL dances on the lyrics, creating a quintessential Hip-Hop track that is sure to have fans seeking more. Through the track, LL hones in on the importance of passion and the role it plays in success. The closing line of the last verse states: “That’s always been your problem, Dennis / No passion.”

44. Camper ft. Ari Lennox & Jeremih – War

Source:CAMPER

Today, Grammy-winning Producer, Camper, releases his second single, “War” featuring the incredible talents of Ari Lennox and Jeremih accompanied by an engaging lyric video. “War” is an upbeat groovy track laced with poignant trumpet and drums that sets the scene for Ari Lennox and Jeremih to vocally bounce off of one another. Camper continues to showcase his abilities as a musical prodigy with this blend of production and vocal pairing.

The visuals for “War,” set to premiere at 5:00 pm ET today, bring the hypnotic chorus “For your love, I’ll go to war” to life with a playful and nostalgic twist. The video showcases Camper’s relentless pursuit to get his girl back featuring scenes where he shows up at her door with flowers, candy, and gifts. Ultimately, he captures her attention with music from an old-school boom box, perfectly capturing the song’s romantic and fun essence.

“War” is the perfect summertime release and an impressive follow-up to “I Need It” FT. Tank and Syd. With “War” Camper invites fans to dive deeper into his musical world and experience his innovative approach to R&B. This track reaffirms Camper’s artistic vision for his upcoming album, Campilation, set to drop later this year.

There are even more exciting releases to come. Welcome to the Camp!

45. $NOT – Viceroy

Source:SNOT

Treating music as a vessel through which he can unleash his darkest thoughts, $NOT is never afraid to say what’s on his mind. Today, the South Florida star shares his new album Viceroy, out now via 300 Entertainment.

$NOT explains the inspiration behind the album: “Naming my album Viceroy just made sense because that butterfly stands for transformation and resilience—which is what I’ve been through in this industry. People might not get it, but Florida’s in my blood, and the viceroy is a symbol of that struggle and growth.”

While sonically the project returns to the moody abrasiveness of $NOT’s earlier work, Viceroy expresses a newfound emotional maturity from the 26-year-old star who dives into topics like love, love lost, and the throes of fame. Over the course of the album’s 17 tracks, $NOT explores every stage of a relationship and the emotions that come with it. “WHAT YOU DONE” finds $NOT deep in his feelings, wondering how he allowed himself to fall so hard for someone who broke his heart: “What you done to me, I know I’m dreaming / 365 days b*tch I miss you / 365 days can’t live without you.” On album focus track “LONELY MF,” he begs to turn off his emotions, blaming himself for the breakup and vowing to never love again over distorted background vocals and a breezy guitar melody. “HELP REFUSER” is $NOT at his most vulnerable, getting deeply introspective atop stripped down production: “I’m used and abused, it’s not nothing new / I’m fighting my demons and I think I will lose / Nothing to prove, I know I’m a loser, a drug abuser, a help refuser.”

Other highlights on Viceroy include the cutthroat “HITMAN,” on which $NOT calls out his enemies: “F*ck everybody who stand in my way, I’m calling my hitman, you dying today.” “DESPERADO” and “THE FLYEST” feature cinematic production, creating a multi-layered sonic universe for $NOT to unleash his boastful bars and relentless disses. The album is also home to recently released tracks like “HILARIOUS” ft. Cochise and the plugg-inspired “BULLY.”

Along with the album, the South Florida artist shares the new video for “WHEN LIFE GETS RUFF,” a highlight from the album. Sinking his teeth into a minimalist and eerie horrorcore instrumental, “WHEN LIFE GETS RUFF” finds $NOT looking out for number one, steeling himself against the fickle actions of his friends and enemies alike, while taking comfort in his vices: “Pull up in my Lamb truck/Pink like Magenta/White girl she off the f*ckin’ Hannah Montana,” he spits. The video finds $NOT elucidating his paranoid worldview, as he talks tough in the rain in his luxurious (and waterproof) hooded vest, and vibes with the giant skull from the Viceroy album cover.

Viceroy is $NOT’s first studio album since 2022’s acclaimed Ethereal, home to hits like the A$AP Rocky-featuring “Doja” and “BENZO.” Last year, $NOT released two standout new singles: the defiant “Cruel World,” featuring a video directed by Chris Villa, who directed A$AP Rocky’s “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)” and Ice Spice’s “In Ha Mood” videos, and “Easter Pink,” a laid back slapper with a psychedelic video of its own. The 300 Ent. signee spent much of the year on the road, highlighted by his headlining 33-date “Get Busy Or Die Tour.” With support from Night Lovell, Eem Triplin, and DC The Don, the fast-selling “Get Busy Or Die Tour” connected $NOT with fans from coast to coast – selling over 45,000 tickets.

As he toured and released new singles, $NOT continued to rack up streams on his formidable catalog, powered by fan favorites from his albums – TRAGEDY + (2019), Beautiful Havoc (2020), and Ethereal (2022): several of his songs earned RIAA certifications last year, including “Mean” (GOLD), “Gosha” (PLATINUM), “Tell Em” (2x PLATINUM) and “Beretta” (GOLD). Overall, the hoodie-clad rapper has generated over 2 billion total streams across platforms.

With Viceroy out now, keep an eye on the young rapper as he continues to evolve into an icon on his own uncompromising terms.

Source:Cat Burns

Multi-BRIT-nominated, double-platinum-selling South London artist Cat Burns presents her highly-anticipated debut album, early twenties, out now via Sony Music UK/RCA Records.

early twenties is not just a debut album; it’s a mirror reflecting the complexities and emotions of this exciting era of adulthood. Throughout early twenties, Cat explores the depths of her reality, articulating and navigating her queer identity as a teenager retrospectively, using the experience to help provide solace to those who may be coming to terms with similar aspects of their selfhood.

Opening with gospel-infused pop offering “alone,” which was awarded BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record on release, Cat’s debut album is filled with honest and diaristic storytelling that fans have found on previous offerings such as “end game,” “people pleaser” and “live more & love more.”

“boy crazy” is a soothing listen, filled with soulful harmonies and classical strings, underpinning Cat’s gorgeous vocal performance. Upbeat track “this is what happens” articulates intrusive thoughts and anxieties; meanwhile, her latest single, “met someone,” relishes in the emotions around finding first love.

To celebrate her album release, Cat will share a short film to accompany her debut album next Wednesday, July 17. Directed by Libby Burke Wilde with Cat as an executive producer, the short film follows a group of friends’ individual stories, from acceptance to anxiety, friendship and identity of being in their early twenties.

At one point, he delivers an unfiltered and undeniable street corner eulogy, “Young Dolph, rest in peace, know I scream that shit every week.” Meanwhile, the music video serves as the perfect tribute to his fallen brother. Flanked by friends and donning all yellow, Ralo raps in front of a fleet of luxury cars, including multiple cyber trucks. Fittingly, a large poster of Young Dolph watches over him as he exudes energy.

It also lands on the heels of his recent Dolph homage “Swimming With Dolphins [feat. Kenny Muney, Big Moochie Grape & Goldmouf]. Upon releasing the music video, it received widespread acclaim from Dirty Glove Bastard and more. XXL named it one of “The 13 Best New Hip-Hop Songs This Week,” and Hip-Hop Vibe applauded his “lyrical prowess” and proclaimed, “The rapper wasted no time in making his presence felt in the music world again.”

“This One For” accelerated the momentum from his much-anticipated comeback anthem “First Day Out.” Beyond reeling in 2.5 million YouTube views on the music video, it earned widespread acclaim. In his first interview since returning home, Complex hailed “First Day Out” as “raw and authentic,” going on to proclaim, “The track serves as a cathartic outlet for the rapper to express the mix of emotions weighing on him.” He picked up plugs from HipHopDXHotNewHipHop, and more.

52. Iman Nunez – Get Off My Back

Source:Iman Nunez

Fresh off his viral OTR freestyle, Iman Nunez uses his newest single, “Get Off My Back,” to confront the doubters as he traverses life as a music artist. He starts the first scene of the video in a park, rapping, “The thing is, they don’t like confrontation. They just look for problems, so their life could be somewhat relative, something to talk about with the people they want to impress…” The opening verse covers how Iman feels like he needs to be more reserved rather than giving people his all and not feeling welcomed by them.

The video then transitions to Iman Nunez rapping in the city about being done with complacency and losing friends in his pursuit of music. He acknowledges how “these demons come with luxuries” as the darker parts of his journey come along with the finer things in his life. Iman continues the second scene, rapping about his tolerance through the ups and downs of the journey and having doubters around him.

He then closes the video at a merry-go-round and says, “F***k the congratulations. I remember everything they said back when we were working out of Chris’s basement. I bet it’s funny how we stuck it out while they was hating. Forever doubting those that reach for greatness…” The song was produced by Haysuse & N-I-N-E. “Get Off My Back” is the final track from his latest album, Phases: Vol 2, presented by On The Radar.
