This past weekend (October 26th & 27th), ONE Musicfest, a beacon of diversity in the music world, celebrated its 15th anniversary. Held at Atlanta’s Central Park, the festival brought together a diverse range of artists, from legendary icons to rising stars. The star-studded lineup captivated audiences with electrifying performances, showing off their musical prowess and stage presence.
Headliners Gunna and Latto both had fans singing along to crowd favorites such as “Brokey” and “f*ckumean” among countless others. GloRilla, who is coming off of the success of her album Glorious, also tore down the stage. She performed with special guest T-Pain before he treated fans to some of his classics. In addition to the young talent on hand (Fridayy, Victoria Monet, Larry June just to name a few), the older crowd was fed also. Method Man and Redman delighted everyone in attendance with a reunion while Jill Scott reminded the world why her soulful voice will never be forgotten. If that wasn’t enough, the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire took us on a trip down memory lane with some of their timeless cuts.
With the presidential election so close, it was essential that everyone did their part. ONE Musicfest, known for its commitment to community and culture, partnered with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Black Coalition to amplify voter engagement. In a powerful push to “get out the vote,” the festival brought together influential voices like Senator Raphael Warnock and Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who rallied alongside the Black Coalition to encourage voter participation. The partnership underscored ONE Musicfest’s dedication to empowering communities and uplifting Black voices, making it more than just a music event—it was a call to action.
ONE Musicfest’s 15th anniversary was a resounding success, further solidifying its position as one of the most beloved music festivals in the country. With its diverse lineup, vibrant atmosphere, and unforgettable performances, the festival provided attendees a weekend of pure musical bliss. As the festival continues to grow and evolve, it promises to remain a cultural touchstone for years to come. Check out some photos from this year’s exciting celebration below!
