Today, Hulu released the official trailer for their upcoming comedy series How to Die Alone. The series follows Mel, a broke, fat, Black JFK airport employee who’s never been in love and has forgotten how to dream. This is until she has an accidental near-death experience that catapults her on a journey to finally take flight and start living by any means necessary.
The series stars Natasha Rothwell (Insecure, Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, The White Lotus), Conrad Ricamora (How to Get Away with Murder, The Resident), Jocko Sims (Crash, The Last Ship, New Amsterdam), and KeiLyn Durrel Jones (Jessica Jones, Time After Time, Out of the Blue). Reccuring guest stars include Bashir Salahuddin, Elle Lorraine, Michelle McLeod, Ellen Cleghorne, Chris “CP” Powell, Arkie Kandola, Jaylee Hamidi, Melissa DuPrey, Michael Hartney, Glenn Fleary, and Jackie Richardson.
Created by Natasha Rothwell, How to Die Alone is produced by ABC Signature in association with Big Hattie Productions. Rothwell and Vera Santamaria serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Desiree Akhavan and Jude Weng also serve as executive producers.
