Just a few short days before the highly anticipated film’s debut, Netflix finally released the official trailer for Back In Action this week. Continue reading to check out a preview of the sure to be thrill ride!

Back In Action follows married couple Emily (Cameron Diaz) and Matt (Jamie Foxx) years after they gave up life as CIA spies to start a family. The two find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown. The fast-paced trailer is filled with high-energy stunts, car chases and witty banter, striking the perfect balance between intense action and lighthearted comedy. The undeniable chemistry between the film’s co-stars shines through as Diaz makes her triumphant return to acting after an eight year hiatus.

In addition to Diaz (The Mask, My Best Friend’s Wedding, There’s Something About Mary, Charlie’s Angels, the Shrek franchise, Gangs of New York) and Foxx (Ray, Collateral, Miami Vice, Django Unchained, Spider-Man: No Way Home), the film also stars Glenn Close (101 Dalmations, Fatal Attractions, Dangerous Liasions, The Wife, Four Good Days), Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights, The Wolf of Wall Street, Game Night, Bloodline), Andrew Scott (Sherlock, Fleabag, All of Us Strangers), Jamie Demetriou (Fleabag), McKenna Roberts, and Rylan Jackson. 

The film was written by Brendan O’Brien (Neighbors) and Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses), with Gordon also directing. Producers on the film included Jenno Topping, Peter Chernin and Sharla Sumpter Bridgett (Ford v Ferrari, Hidden Figures, Luther) for Chernin Entertainmnt; Beau Bauman (Central Intelligence) for Good One Productions and Seth Gordon for Exhibit A. Jamie Foxx, Datari Turner, Brendan O’Brien, and Tim Lewis all took on executive producer responsibilities.
