1. TDJ – Where Is My Angel

Source:TDJ

Today, Montreal’s multi-hyphenate trance prodigy TDJ announces her debut album, a self-actualizing, self-titled project set for release on June 27 on Collection Disque Durs / All Night Long. The announcement arrives alongside a new single, “Where Is My Angel,” a slow burn of hypermodern trance that imagines the genre clearly in the world of indie pop, but punctuated by jolts of tummy-tingling butterflies.

Grappling with the need to ground herself amid constant motion, the new track captures the disorienting mix of distance and lucidity that defines life on the road. “I needed to feel some kind of clarity out of this unpredictable life path I was embracing,” TDJ reflects on her rewarding yet taxing touring schedule. That tension is audible in the song’s crystalline production and aching topline — “I’m drifting through the night / Searching for a sign / Can’t hold on to shadows / Or the past left behind” — a bittersweet plea wrapped in high-gloss synths and sky-high emotion. TDJ wrote, produced, and performed the track herself, as she does with the entire forthcoming album.

2. Open Mike Eagle – contraband (the plug has bags of me)

Source:Open Mike Eagle

Fresh off a tour supporting Future Islands, beloved rapper, screenwriter, comedian, and polymath Open Mike Eagle, returns with news of a new album and has shared its lead single “contraband (the plug has bags of me).” Neighborhood Gods Unlimited is due out July 11 via his own label, Auto Reverse Records, and coincides with Mike’s headline tour launching just days before the album release. “contraband (the plug has bags of me)” is produced by Kenny Segal (Billy Woods, Benjamin Booker) and reflects on coming of age experiences in Mike’s native Chicago.

Beyond his career as a musician, Mike has developed a number of television projects including his Comedy Central show The New Negroes. Speaking about that process, Mike reflects “One project I always come back to is a concept called Dark Comedy Television. It’s a show

about a cable network that can only afford to be on the air for an hour a week so it has to fit its entire slate of programs in that hour.” Inspired by dramas like Get Out or Sorry to Bother You, which are stories that engage in big conversations around the trauma of marginalized peoples, and later by the surrealism of Boots Riley’s I’m A Virgo, Mike began to develop Neighborhood Gods Unlimited.

Mike continues, “The trauma at the center of Neighborhood Gods Unlimited is mine. I was shattered as a young person and I spent the majority of my life not knowing it. In my ignorance I would go on to shatter myself even further because it was all I knew. This is a story about how people who are trying to find themselves get confused when they encounter things that remind them of themselves.”

In light of the harsh realities that new series often face in the television industry, Mike decided to transform his concept into music, partly as a cathartic process. As Mike says, “It felt good to make and sometimes TV forces you to abandon things you’ve put your heart into. If that had happened with a project around this particular subject matter, it would have been bad for my mental health.” The ensuing album contains an opening theme, flashbacks, a climax and even some commercials.

Touring will see Mike begin in his adopted hometown of Los Angeles, CA on July 9 before traversing the country and culminating in an August 16th show in Washington, DC. Full routing is available below and tickets can be purchased here. Following that run, OME picks up additional dates in support of Phantogram from August 31st to September 15th.

3. Starling – No Frown

Source:Sunday Drive Records

Los Angeles alt-rock band Starling are excited to share their latest single “No Frown,” the last preview of their new EP, Forgive Me, out June 27, 2025 via San Antonio’s Sunday Drive Records. Performed as a duet, “No Frown” documents the invincibility and sweetness that a small town love can bring. Acoustic guitar and string arrangements evoke fond memories, yearning for the past as Kasha and Gitai’s vocals reminisce on moments of desire. A striking, ever-relevant song, Starling’s entry into the slowness marks one of their most reflective and memorable releases yet.

“‘No Frown’ is the most acoustic song on the record. It is about growing up in a city and falling in love with someone from a small town, and falling in love with the small town itself,” Starling say. “It is a sweet song, it feels complete; All of Starling’s usual yearning satisfied. The lyrics were written by Kasha and performed both by her and lead guitarist Gitai. Erik orchestrated the strings.”

Heralding the announcement of Forgive Me, was “I Can Be Convinced,” a hard-hitting but sickly sweet departure from their sparse and airy dreamscapes. The single sees the four-piece examine an all-consuming love and the comfort one can find in confinement. Soaring guitars, blistering hi-hats and bandleader Kasha Souter Willett’s saultering vocals push the song towards sonic chaos. Directed by David Milan Kelly and produced by Skyler Sulby, the official music video for the single was filmed in Los Angeles, CA, and features the band amongst an array of ballerinas.

Starling has kept busy since their inception in 2023, steadily releasing music and playing shows on the West Coast. Their debut EP, 2324, arrived last fall via tastemaking tape label Pleasure Tapes. Serving as a compilation of their singles from 2023 and 2024, the project features fan favorite songs like “Bottlebrush Tree” and “Falling Down a Mystery Hillside.”

Having recently finished up a run of shows with fellow LA band Cryogeyser, Starling has rocked support slots across town with Flooding, Devon Ross and more. Starting next month, they’ll support Phoenix shoegaze band Glixen in California, the Midwest and Texas. 4. S.G. Goodman – Michael Told Me

Source:S.G. Goodman

Today, S.G. Goodman released her new single “Michael Told Me” the fourth from her forthcoming third studio album, Planting by the Signs, due out June 20 via her very own Slough Water Records / Thirty Tigers. Goodman will also be embarking on a headline tour across the U.S. starting this September with dates including NYC’s Bowery Ballroom, L.A.’s Troubadour and Nashville’s Basement East – full dates below and more information here.

Listen to “Michael Told Me” here + Pre-order Planting by the Signs here.

“Michael Told Me” is an expertly constructed song that spans the distance between grief and reconciliation using the city of Los Angeles as a narrative anchor. That’s where S.G. Goodman and her longtime collaborator Matt Rowan fell out due to the grueling nature of touring, which led to a two-year period of silence between the two friends. Los Angeles is also where Goodman learned the news that her father figure and mentor, whom she lovingly referred to as “Murray Dad Mike,” had died tragically in a freak accident involving a tree. She was on the road when she learned this news, and trucked on. But that grief opened up a line back to Matt. A line that led to the making of this album, of two friends reuniting and co-producing, and recreating musical magic in the studio, in honor of their shared father figure.

Says S.G., “The grief of losing a father figure amounted to needing all of my chosen brothers. We told each other that we loved each other, and Matt told me he would take care of Mike’s partner and all of our friends while we finished up our run. The song “Michael Told Me” was started shortly after our falling out in 2021, and the song fully revealed itself in the winter of 2024.”

“It is a song of reconciliation, and a testament to my relationship to two great men who believe that there is something worth getting to on the other side of feeling hurt. Our friendship had been pruned back for a time, but Mike had always assured me that new growth would come, and I believed him. It truly is one of life’s greatest gifts to understand and to experience love that can overcome ruptures.”

“Michael Told Me” follows the release of singles “Snapping Turtle,” “Satellite” and “Fire Sign,” which have collectively  received critical acclaim from the New York Times, KCRW, Relix, Stereogum, FLOOD, Consequence, Pitchfork, Brooklyn Vegan and more.

Her first album in three years, Planting by the Signs is a reminder of the Kentucky born and raised singer-songwriter’s razor-sharp lyricism, singular voice and seamless blend of indie rock and subtle rural influences.

She recently spoke to Stephen Deusner at UNCUT about the making of this record, who described her “distinctive sound that mixes Americana songwriting with post-punk guitars” and her voice as a “grainy, intimate tremolo that sounds like it comes from another time.” S.G. told Uncut that this album “is about beliefs – which ones we hang on to and how those beliefs evolve over generations.” Uncut also spoke to some of her musician fans including Jim James, who said “When I first heard her, I was spellbound,” and Will Oldham – who appears on the new album – who says, “Big power, big vulnerability and an awareness of the vital container of a song inherently is, for exploration of emotion and humanity.”

While on the road, promoting her debut Old Time Feeling and 2022’s Teeth Marks, she  zig-zagged across the nation with a touring schedule that would make even the most seasoned road dog wince. Amidst the non-stop performances, she endured the loss of her own dog Howard, as well as the death of her friend and mentor Mike, who died tragically in an accident in her hometown of Murray, KY. She parted ways with long term collaborator Matt Rowan due to the strenuous nature of the road, but after the death of Mike, they reconciled.

Life dealt blows, but she didn’t stop. Until she did. When she returned home to Kentucky to write the next album, she hit a wall, because she hadn’t paused for years. So she took stock – a few shrooms for inspiration– got back to nature, and looked back to the ancient Appalachian wisdom of planting by the signs, i.e. the idea that cutting your hair, or laying down shingles, are best timed to lunar and planetary cycles.

S.G. says, “As an “old story keeper,” I’ve centered myself around the idea that passing down stories and sayings connects us through generations. This notion was a driving force in the creation of this album as a whole, as I was compelled to share the concept of planting by the signs with my nieces and nephews.”

The result is eleven tracks of her best material yet. Inspired by love, loss, reconciliation, and the aforementioned ancient practice, highlighted by the critically-acclaimed and award-winning artist’s singular voice and her penchant for juxtaposing vulnerable folk music with punchy rock ‘n roll, replete with chiming guitars, ethereal atmospherics, and her DIY ethos. Goodman provides a timely reminder that the only way forward is together, and that we must always take into account humanity’s dependence on and responsibility to the natural world.

In the fall of 2024, Goodman decamped to the Nutt House in Sheffield, AL, alongside co-producer Drew Vandenberg (her co-producer on 2022’s Teeth Marks), guitarist/songwriter Matt Rowan, her longtime musical collaborator with whom she parted ways and then reconciled in the span between albums.

With her two collaborators and a cast of musical characters including Goodman tracked what is by no exaggeration her best record to date. With songs like “Fire Sign,” “Satellite,” “Snapping Turtle,” “Michael Told Me,” “Heaven” and “I’m In Love,” Planting by the Signs finds Goodman exploring this old story and other themes in the only way she knows; with a fresh musical and lyrical perspective, vivid, incisive detail, and a heaping dose of empathy and compassion.

5. Myd – So High

Source:Myd

DJ, producer, singer and artist Myd has announced his anticipated new album ‘Mydnight’ will be released 29th August via Ed Banger Records / Because Music. The announcement comes alongside a brand new single taken from the record, ‘So High’, which is out now and offers a sun-drenched glimpse into the sonic world of the forthcoming ‘Mydnight’ LP.

A kaleidoscopic journey through club euphoria, playful honesty and technicolour emotion, Myd’s new album ‘Mydnight’ is the boldest statement yet from a truly singular artist. Featuring Myd’s own vocals on every track and a handpicked global cast of collaborators including Channel Tres, Calcutta, Trueno, Carlita, Bethanie Home and more, ‘Mydnight’ marks the beginning of a new era for Myd: more club-focused, more personal, and more emotionally resonant than ever.

Myd’s debut album ‘Born A Loser’ saw Myd sharing his inner world through guitar-infused indie dance – but ‘Mydnight’ is his view from the DJ booth. It was written and produced between LA and Paris, with heat from the global dancefloor baked into every groove.

Singles released so far from ‘Mydnight’ include double A-side ‘Song For You’ / ‘The Wizard’: statement pieces of Myd’s intent on his new album, acknowledging his French dance music forebears whilst simultaneously pushing the agenda forward – and there is plenty more where they came from on ‘Mydnight’.

Myd’s relentless three-year schedule DJing across the world informs much of what appears on the album – he has taken in the sounds, personalities and vibrancy of the many places he’s played in, and incorporated it all into a body of work greater than the sum of its parts. There are the Samba rhythms and World Cup-esque whistles of new single ‘So High’. The nuanced, fragile closeness on standout track ‘Be Someone New’ featuring Bethanie Home, the infectious groove of previous single ‘All That Glitters Is Not Gold’ featuring Channel Tres and Trueno. But Myd is also unafraid to dive headfirst into straight-up, dancefloor-focused house, as shown on ‘In My Head’ featuring Carlita, ‘Made Me Feel Alive’ and the monster album closer ‘The Wizard’. And then there’s ‘9am’ – a tender and reflective track tailor-made for those who made it through the night and into the next morning.

On ‘Mydnight’, Myd bears it all. Everything he is as an artist and a human being has been put into this record – and serves as a perfect snapshot into the stories and memories accrued over a busy few years playing everywhere from the hallowed Pikes Ibiza to the Champions League Finals and Paralympic Closing Ceremony in Paris.

6. Teyana Taylor – Long Time

Source:Teyana Taylor

Following a groundswell of excitement and anticipation, Harlem-born trailblazing artist, auteur, actress, and visionary Teyana Taylor shares a new single and music video entitled “Long Time” out today via Def Jam Recordings. Listen HERE. Watch HERE. It provides the first proper taste of her anxiously awaited new album and short film, Escape Room, which arrives in August.

“Long Time” ushers R&B into the future. A glitchy bassline pulsates like an intense robotic heartbeat accented by warped samples and airy beat-craft. Piercing the haze, she mines raw emotion from this icy digitized backdrop. Recounting the pitfalls of a relationship that long-overstayed its welcome, she laments, “The truth is it didn’t end when it was over…Baby, it’s been over a long time.

Teyana dropped the trailer for Escape Room last week, and it has already gathered nearly 10 million views and upon release was trending on X/Twitter. Watch HERE.

Get ready to escape…for more information visit  https://www.teyanataylor.com/.

Teyana not only stars in this enigmatic post-apocalyptic/futuristic, noir romance thriller, but she also wrote, directed, and produced it under the banner of her all-female production company The Aunties. The accompanying album stands out as her first new music in five years. She has stretched her vision across dimensions, key songs will notably provide the soundscape for the film.

The short film acts as a visual representation of the album exploring the ombré effects of life’s journey from the  darkness of all aspects of heartbreak (i.e. friendships, career, family, etc.) to the lightness of healing. This multi-faceted body of work traces the entire human experience delivering both a relatable and universal piece of art that audiences can make their own. Escape Room ultimately creates a safe space to break free from whatever we need to escape, leaving hurt behind, and reaching healing.

Five years ago, Teyana pivoted from music and ignited her film and television career. She has emerged as a superstar with a full slate of high-profile projects on the horizon. These include Tyler Perry’s Straw streaming via NETFLIX on June 6, Academy® Award-nominated iconic filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another with Academy® Award winners Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Benicio Del Toro in theaters September 26, and Joe Carnahan’s The Rip with Academy® Award winners Matt Damon and Ben Affleck coming soon on NETFLIX. Rising Florida rapper C Stunna continues his momentum with the release of his latest single, “Custo,” out now via MNRK Music Group. The track follows his recent shift in sound on the smooth single “I Want You,” but “Custo,” produced by JerseyBtw, brings the energy back to the streets with C Stunna’s signature confident delivery and raw charisma.

The accompanying video, directed by Cotto 0verdidit, keeps things simple and authentic, letting the music and C Stunna’s presence do all the talking.

“Custo” is the latest reminder that C Stunna is carving out his own lane—equally comfortable with melody and mood as he is with bars and bravado. With more music on the way, the rising star is just getting started.

In addition to the release, C Stunna recently made headlines with a viral livestream appearance with top streamer N3ON, which took place on Haitian Flag Day in C Stunna’s hometown of Fort Myers, FL. The stream, which aired on KICK.com, began with N3ON arriving on a private jet, where he was greeted by Stunna and Haitian streamer/artist D Lou. From there, the crew explored Stunna’s neighborhood—playing basketball and dominoes, bowling, and sampling Haitian food for the first time.

The livestream surpassed all expectations, becoming N3ON’s most-streamed video on his KICK account—outperforming even his recent stream with Kanye West and Florida rapper Bossman Dlow. The moment also generated more than 6,000 new subscribers across C Stunna’s social platforms and sparked an upcoming music collaboration between Stunna and N3ON.

A force to be reckoned with, EST Gee continues to win listeners by authentically, unflinchingly documenting day-to-day life in his hometown with a rumbling deadpan style that pairs perfectly with trap-infused Southern rap. That year, he also: collaborated with Lil Baby, Young Thug, Lil Durk, and many others; received cosigns from the likes of Jay-Z and Drake; played Jimmy Kimmel Live! with Louisville’s own Jack Harlow; and garnered praise from Complex (20 Best Rappers in Their 20s), The New York Times, who put Bigger on their year-end best albums list, and Rolling Stone, where EST Gee topped the Breakthrough 25 chart.

In 2022, EST Gee joined CMG and released his debut studio album, I Never Felt Nun, a collection of tense street raps with occasional dips into melody provided by superstar guests including Future and Harlow. The set hit No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and was his third to reach the Top 10 — including his and 42 Dugg’s 2022 joint mixtape, Last Ones Left. He also made his national TV debut performing at the BET Hip-Hop Awards with Jeezy, plus returned to Billboard’s Hot 100 via Future’s “CHICKENS” and Lil Baby’s “Back and Forth.” EST Gee has long been your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper.

10. Josh Levi – Don’t Go

Source:Josh Levi

GRAMMY® Award-nominated sensation Josh Levi is back with his new single, “DON’T GO,” available HERE via Raedio/Atlantic Records. The instantly infectious track interpolates the iconic Destiny Child hit “No, No, No” – a harmonious nod to Josh’s Houston roots. The explosive single heralds the upcoming release of his long awaited debut studio album, HYDRAULIC, arriving this summer. Pre-save the album HERE.

On the new album, Josh Levi shares, “Love, like hydraulics, is a system that lifts, dips, and demands care and maintenance. It reflects the ups and downs in life. Love can also be seen as a finely tuned system of emotions, like a hydraulic car. It soars in moments of joy and dips in the lows, but it takes constant effort to maintain. Similar to a mechanic, I continue to keep myself functional even when the system – my heart/mind – breaks down so that I can always keep moving.”

Levi first introduced fans to HYDRAULIC with last month’s release of the hypnotic “FEEL THE BA$$ (Prelude) [Feat. BEAM],” available everywhere HERE. Hailed by Rated R&B as “an early bid for summer anthem” for its “knocking production and club-friendly lyrics (that) make you want to get up and dance,” the innovative, booming bass-driven track is joined by an official visualizer streaming now HERE

HYDRAULIC marks the start of an extraordinary new era for Josh Levi following what has already proven a monumental artistic journey. 2024 saw Levi winning over audiences with an array of show-stealing live appearances, including a special guest run with breakthrough rap duo Flyana Boss on their sold-out Bosstanical Garden Tour and a festival debut performance alongside Lil Wayne, Summer Walker, Latto, Gucci Mane, and more at Dallas, TX’s TwoGether Land. In 2025, Spotify named Josh an “Artist To Watch” and he joined R&B supergroup FLO on their Access All Areas North American Tour hitting New York, Toronto, Chicago and Los Angeles. With all that powerful energy at his back, Josh Levi is now poised to push to even greater heights with his long awaited full-length debut album, HYDRAULIC, rising to the vanguard of modern R&B with his dynamic vocals, soulful spirit, and captivating breadth of experience. 11. Ludmilla – Paraíso

Source:LUDMILLA

Last night, Grammy-winning Brazilian superstar Ludmilla released the first single off of her forthcoming album, set to drop later this year. The single, “Paraíso,” includes an accompanying visualizer that premiered this morning on Ludmilla’s YouTube channel, offering a never-before-seen look into Ludmilla’s life at home leading up to the birth of her daughter, Zuri. “Paraíso” is now available on all digital streaming platforms.

“Paraíso” is a romantic R&B song about a same-sex couple who find the courage to proclaim their love publicly. Throughout the song, Ludmilla reveals her vulnerable side as she explores her connection with her partner, Brunna Gonçalves, through heartfelt lyrics. Written by Ludmilla in collaboration with Jefferson Júnior, John Glória, Machadez, and Umberto Tavares, and produced by Machadez and Ajaxx, “Paraíso” evokes an early 2000s sound, drawing inspiration from artists like D’Angelo, Mariah Carey, and Keyshia Cole, with a modern twist.

The cover art incorporates apple imagery to symbolize the bite that Eve takes from the apple in the Garden of Eden. The two bites represent each of the lovers diving into what may be seen as temptation, but instead of leaving paradise, they redefine it as a place of freedom, acceptance, and love between equals.

The accompanying visualizer offers a cozy, at-home video look into Ludmilla and Brunna’s special relationship as they prepared for the birth of their daughter, Zuri. From making popcorn and playing video games to picking out newborn onesies, fans will feel like they’re really sharing these special moments with the happy couple.

In an official statement, Ludmilla shared, “‘Paraíso’ is perhaps the most intimate song I’ve ever written. It’s about my wife, about my daughter, about the family we’ve built. I know what love is because I live it every day. We went through so much to get here, and today I can look at my life and say, ‘This is paradise.’ I had to turn that feeling into music.”

“Paraíso” is an anthem fans can relate to, intentionally released in June for LGBTQIA+ Pride Month, which is also the month Ludmilla and Brunna came out to the world. From Brazilian Valentine’s Day to the couple’s daughter, Zuri’s, one-month birthday, Ludmilla sees June as a month of love.

Ludmilla is the first Afro-Latin American female musician to reach one billion global streams on Spotify and boasts over 15 billion streams across digital platforms. In 2024, Ludmilla became Spotify Brazil’s most-streamed pop artist and the 6th most-streamed Black woman on Spotify worldwide. Ludmilla won a Latin Grammy for the album “Numanice 2,” featuring notable collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Major Lazer, Sean Paul, DJ Steve Aoki and more.

“Paraíso” is available now on all streaming platforms. For more updates on what Ludmilla has planned for this year, follow her on Instagram.

12. Kevin Abstract & Dominic Fike – Geezer

Source:Kevin Abstract

Artist/producer/songwriter Kevin Abstract and longtime collaborator and friend Dominic Fike have released a video for a brand new track today called “Geezer.” The video was directed by Jack Begert and Reed Bennett. The song is a taste of Abstract’s forthcoming collective album BLUSH, set for release on June 27th, via his newly formed label Juno. “Geezer” is Fike and Abstract’s first song together since 2019’s “Peach,” featured on Abstract’s acclaimed first solo album ARIZONA BABY.

BLUSH is Abstract firing on all cylinders, sitting down again in his rightful place in the producer’s chair to make one of the most dynamic, sonically adventurous, and just plain fun albums of his career.

To create the record, Abstract relied on one of his greatest superpowers as an artist, the thing that has made him one of the most unstoppable creators of the last decade: his unmatched ability to find, work with, and get the best out of incredible artists across all genres. He amassed an amazing coterie of collaborators to make BLUSH the genius record that it is, bringing features from his pop world (Dominic Fike, Quadeca, JPEGMAFIA, Sekou, Danny Brown, Truly Young) and placing them next to rising voices from Houston he discovered after returning to live back home in Texas last year.

14. Honey Bxby & Lil Kim – Left Eye (Remix)

Source:Honey Bxby

It’s an East Coast takeover this summer as R&B’s boldest new voice, Honey Bxby, joins forces with rap royalty Lil’ Kim for the official remix of Honey’s breakout single “LEFT EYE.” This fierce remix is already the talk of the town and poised to be the summer’s biggest anthem. Listen HERE via Rebirth Ent./ART@WAR/Warner Records.

Fresh from its live debut at Lil’ Kim’s sold-out show in Connecticut last month, the “LEFT EYE” remix finds Honey Bxby’s sweet-and-savage delivery colliding with Lil’ Kim’s signature, unstoppable swagger and flow. And the buzz doesn’t stop there. On June 9, Honey will shut down the 2025 BET Awards Pre-Show stage for her biggest moment yet—performing the official remix of her breakout single “LEFT EYE” alongside rap icon Lil’ Kim. The track, which flips Mobb Deep’s classic “Quiet Storm,” is available on all DSPs and is already being hailed as a summer anthem in the making.

And Honey Bxby isn’t stopping there. Her official debut EP, Raw Honey, is out now and generating major buzz with its chaotic R&B. With guest features from Coi Leray, Toosii, Lola Brooke, and Wesley Franklin, Raw Honey is an 11-track masterclass in raw emotion, bossed-up lyrics, and unfiltered attitude.

Standout singles like “Think I Might,” the sultry “3AM” ft. Toosii, and the hypnotic focus track “Laying In His Bed” have cemented Honey’s reputation as one of R&B’s most exciting new voices. “This project is me—sweet but savage,” Honey says. “It’s soft and vulnerable, but I’m still talking my shit. I wanted it to feel real, like you’re right there in the room with me.”

With co-signs from Mary J. Blige and Busta Rhymes, a remix with Fivio Foreign, and opening slots for Sexyy Red, Flyana Boss, and SAINt JHN, Honey’s meteoric rise shows no signs of slowing down. She’s also gearing up for a show-stopping set at Hot 97 Summer Jam, proving that this summer truly belongs to Honey Bxby.

“LEFT EYE” remix is more than a song—it’s a coronation. Honey Bxby and The Queen Bee are here to remind everyone why East Coast R&B and hip-hop are hotter than ever.

15. Avery Lynch – Lasting Effects

Source:Avery Lynch

Avery Lynch returns today with her new single, “Lasting Effects,” a hauntingly intimate yet ultimately empowering reflection on love, loss, and self-discovery. Building on the momentum of her recent standout singles, “Lasting Effects” offers another vivid glimpse into the emotional world of her forthcoming project, set for release later this year.

The inspiration for “Lasting Effects” came in the wake of a breakup, when Avery was told no one else would love her the way he had. “At the time, I knew he was wrong,” she shares. “But as I got further from the situation, I realized he was right—but not in the way he thought. I realized I don’t ever want someone like him, and I don’t want to be loved like that.” Instead of falling apart, the experience became a turning point, helping Avery rediscover parts of herself that had been quieted during the relationship. “I think it’s a really positive and hopeful song,” she adds. “I hope it inspires people and leaves a positive lasting effect.”

Known for her emotionally raw lyricism and understated production, Avery once again invites listeners into her inner world with a song that feels both deeply personal and widely relatable. Built around soft keys, ambient textures, and hushed percussion, “Lasting Effects” is a beautifully restrained track that lets its emotional weight breathe through gentle melodies and heartfelt words. Co-produced by Jordanlilvee, Michael Blum, and Avery herself, the song marks an exciting step in her evolution as a producer and storyteller.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Avery’s musical journey began at the age of 7, composing piano pieces before evolving into songwriting. Now based in Los Angeles, her signature sound—lush, melancholic piano arrangements paired with her soft, expressive vocals—has become the foundation of her artistry. Every song begins with Avery alone at her piano, crafting intimate, emotionally rich demos that she later refines with her trusted collaborators. Her voice, tender yet deeply evocative, breathes life into her lyrics, making each song feel like a personal confession.

Often described as a “happy girl filled with sad songs,” her music is a masterclass in storytelling, inspired by her life experiences, the world around her, and the media she consumes. With praise from tastemakers like Ones To Watch and EARMILK, and a rapidly growing fanbase that’s helped her surpass 400 million streams, Avery continues to showcase her gift for turning raw emotion into intimate, relatable, and quietly captivating songs.

16. Lexa Gates – Latency

Source:lexagates

Today, 24-year-old rapper, singer, and producer Lexa Gates releases her mesmerizing new single, “Latency,” via Capitol Records. Produced by Grammy Award winning producer, Jasper Harris (Baby Keem, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas X), and Aaron Shadrow (Doja Cat, Yeat), the track captures the mood of the season with hypnotic piano lines and sultry, self-assured vocals that glide effortlessly over a sample of Hamilton Bohannon’s “Tell Me You’ll Wait.”. Balancing vulnerability and confidence, Lexa explores the tension of an unfulfilled connection: “I got ideas of you, making moves on me, what’s with the latency?” Known for her ability to distill complex emotions into sharp, quotable lyrics, Lexa describes the song as “a sexy fantasy of a love left on delay. Waiting for a text back, or a move to be made.” She adds: “I got in the studio late night with the GOATS. From New York to LA. Being around all these rich older men sparked a curiosity in me. It’s a tale as old as time.” Listen to “Latency” HERE.

“Latency” arrives on the heels of the second leg of Lexa’s first-ever headline tour, where she performed to sold-out crowds in cities including Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Orlando. “The Elite Vessel Tour” supported her critically acclaimed debut album Elite Vessel—a deeply personal 12-track project exploring themes of self-discovery, resilience, and ambition. Released last fall, the album features standout collaborations with Alé Araya, Zelooperz, and Billy Lemos, and made an immediate impact, debuting on both the Billboard Heatseekers chart and the Current R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Elite Vessel also earned praise from Rolling Stone (“Artist You Need To Know”), Complex (calling it “one of the best under-the-radar rap albums of 2024”), Billboard, Highsnobiety, The FADER, The Face, KCRW, and more.

One of the most striking moments surrounding Elite Vessel was Lexa’s powerful art installation in New York City, where she spent 10 hours inside a transparent box, exploring her deep connection to both her music and listeners. The bold display captivated viewers and has since amassed over 300 million views across platforms, further cementing her as an artist unafraid to push boundaries. Listen to Elite Vessel HERE.

In addition to “Latency,” Lexa has already had a breakout year: starring in a KITH campaign alongside Fabolous and Jadakiss, wrapped her first sold-out headline tour, earned Billboard’s “Rookie of the Month” title, attended their annual Women in Music event, and delivered a standout cover of Amy Winehouse’s “I Heard Love Is Blind” for Apple Music. This summer, she’ll perform at major festivals including Governors Ball (Queens), Capitol Hill Block Party (Seattle), Jazz Café Festival (UK), and Outside Lands (San Francisco). With co-signs from SZA, Aminé, Isaiah Rashad, and more, and “Artist to Watch” praise from Billboard, Complex, Schön!, and Hypebeast. Lexa Gates is continuing to shape a singular path. She is introspective, magnetic, bold, and in a lane of her own.

19. Sabrina Claudio – Fall in Love with Her

Source:Sabrina Claudio

Today, Grammy-winning and RIAA Platinum-certified singer-songwriter Sabrina Claudio releases her fifth studio album, Fall in Love with Her, via EMPIRE. The 11-track project marks a bold new era for the Miami-born artist, unfolding across a lush, R&B-drenched soundscape where self-exploration and romantic vulnerability collide, bringing to life the emotional and cathartic journey and process Sabrina has undergone with her newfound evolution.

The album opens with the title track “Fall in Love with Her” featuring Tanerélle, quickly setting an emotional tone as Sabrina finds herself. Paired over a simple production their vocals effortlessly enmesh, resulting in a haunting, soul-stirring performance that underscores one of the record’s core themes: emotional evolution and radical self-acceptance. The track lays the foundation for a body of work that feels both deeply personal and sonically expansive. A story of transformation, desire, and reclamation.

Speaking on the album, Sabrina shares, “’Fall In Love With Her’ is a reflection of growth—a journey through longing, healing, and finding alignment. It’s about letting go of who I once was to become who I’m meant to be, and trusting that in the end, I’ll meet her again. She’ll be everything I’ve worked for. And I will fall in love with her.”

From dreamy ballads to stark emotional revelations, the album flows through richly textured moments, moving from the stripped-down, heartfelt Spanish-language intimacy of “Mi Luz” to the raw, soul-baring vulnerability of “Detoxing,” while “Worse Than Me” brings a commanding energy that radiates self-assuredness and reinforces the album’s message of personal power.

Fall in Love with Her is Sabrina’s most personal and sonically daring body of work to date, a bold and exciting departure from her earlier albums. It follows the success of past projects, such as Confidently Lost and About Time, which have cemented her place as one of R&B’s most compelling modern voices. In 2022, she embarked on a sold-out headline tour and performed at festivals including Coachella.

With over 3 billion streams worldwide, Claudio has collaborated with artists such as The Weeknd, Alicia Keys, A$AP Rocky, ZAYN, Marshmello, Diplo, Khalid, and more. Her pen has also earned her GRAMMY recognition for contributions to Beyoncé’s “Plastic Off The Sofa” and Chris Brown’s “Best Ever.” Recent collaborations include “MAKE IT UP” with Destin Conrad, “Settle For Less” with ZHU, “Don’t Speak” with Marshmello, and “No Question” with label mate Tyga.

21. untiljapan – trompe l’oeil

Source:untiljapan

Rising Atlanta artist untiljapan has unleashed his highly anticipated new project, trompe l’oeil, on June 6. The genre-bending album marks a bold new chapter in his creative evolution, combining raw emotion, surreal storytelling, and cinematic production. The album is an exploration into the eclectic mind of untiljapan where fans hear stories of his come-up and his plans to leave a lasting impact on the culture.

trompe l’oeil delivers a sonically rich experience, blending alt-rap with other genres and experimental textures that mirror the illusion and depth hinted at in the title, which stays true to its namesake, a French phrase meaning to deceive or trick the eye. In addition to dropping the new project, untiljapan has also released an official music video for the album’s penultimate track, “DIE LIKE THIS.” The gripping visuals directed by John Ross showcase untiljapan’s distinct style and narrative ambition.

untiljapan got the ball rolling for his latest album with the lead single and his first release of 2025, “PYRAMIDZ.” The track was released last month and marked the return of a distinctive voice in rap that was comfortable with being raw, experimental, and emotionally exposed. “PYRAMIDZ” also arrived with a visual directed by Trey Lyons.

trompe l’oeil was also mentioned in Complex’s “10 Projects We Can’t Wait To Hear In June” list, while “PYRAMIDZ” received nods from Pitchfork and Pigeons & Planes, which had fans buzzing even more about the latest music product to emerge from Atlanta. To date, untiljapan’s music has become a massive demand from fans on social media, and he’s positioned himself as one of the biggest in-demand artists from the underground scene.

untiljapan first turned heads in 2022 with his independent EP WARHOL, made in his bedroom while still in high school. In 2023, his debut LP SAFE TRAVELS gained momentum online, helping him build a small but dedicated following with his breakout single “KISS N TELL” which quickly earned him over one million streams. His work blends rap, melody, and storytelling in a way that feels deeply personal, often pulling from real moments and internal battles.

Born to Nigerian parents and raised in Georgia, untiljapan’s relationship with music started young but didn’t become a serious focus until college. He was studying computer science when he decided to drop out and fully commit to making music. That leap, taken without a plan but with a lot of faith, has shaped the way he approaches everything since.

24. Dylan Gossett – Sweet Lady

Source:Dylan Gossett

Today, Platinum-Certified and critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Dylan Gossett unveils his latest offering, “Sweet Lady,” from his much-anticipated forthcoming debut album, Westward, out next month on July 18th via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records. Listen to “Sweet Lady” HERE.

Written over the span of the past two years while touring the globe, the 17-track Westward album was written and entirely self-produced by Gossett. It features his signature heart-on-his-sleeve storytelling and explores themes of love, family, faith, and chasing one’s dreams. His new single “Sweet Lady” was written as a love letter while on the road and is dedicated to the person who makes home a place worth missing. On the song, Gossett shares, “This song is for me and all the guys in the band. It’s about loving where you are in the moment, and promising that we’ll be back home soon.” Watch a live performance of “Sweet Lady” from Austin’s Orb Studios HERE.

Westward also includes Gossett’s recent singles “American Trail” and “Like I Do.” He continues, “I think Westward means two things, generally. This album is very on-the-road written. You have all these bits and pieces from these stories that are really just about life on the road. The other side of it, and where the Westward title comes into play, was that these past few years have been so crazy and just incredible. I feel like we’ve been chasing our dream the whole way. People have always headed west for opportunities and chase their dreams by going out there. That’s where I tie it in a little bit, metaphorically. Everyone on the crew is chasing their dreams, in some way.” Watch the official album trailer HERE.

This week, Gossett played a string of live shows across Nashville for CMA Week, including his debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry for their Opry 100 Celebration, Country Central’s Whiskey Jam, and Spotify House.

Cementing himself as a global touring force, Gossett sold over 72,000 global tickets in 2024 alone. All upcoming tour dates are below, and tickets are on-sale now at www.dylangossett.com.

Over the past two years, Dylan Gossett has emerged as one of the biggest and brightest new stars in country music. In less than two years, he has notched over 800 million total streams. His breakout single “Coal” picked up a Platinum Certification in the United States, in addition to going Silver in the U.K., Platinum in Australia, 2x-Platinum in Canada, and 2x-Platinum in Ireland. The song marked his first entry on the Spotify U.S. Top 200 Chart, Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and U.K. Official Singles Chart Top 100. Not to mention, it broke into the Top 25 of the Billboard Country Digital Songs Chart and Top 5 of the Spotify Viral 50 U.S. and Global Charts. It’s no wonder major players such as Spotify and Amazon pegged him as an “Artist To Watch” in 2024, while Music Row named him among its “Next Big Thing Class of 2025 Artists.

Capping off a monumental 2024, Gossett released his fan favorite single “Tree Birds” last fall. Amazon Music also tapped Dylan to contribute “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right (Amazon Music Original);” plus, he was featured on the GRAMMY-nominated Twisters: The Album Soundtrack with his original song “Stronger Than A Storm.” Not to mention, he delivered a showstopping rendition of “Coal” during ESPN’s College GameDay at his alma mater Texas A&M—watch a clip of his performance HERE.

28. GRYFFIN ft. Chance Peña – Hard Time Lover

Source:GRYFFIN

Dance music maverick GRYFFIN is back with another stunning single ‘Hard Time Lover’ featuring singer-songwriter Chance Peña out now via 10K Projects.

Drawing on his indie roots, ‘Hard Time Lover’ channels the emotional resonance and melodic instrumentation that first catapulted GRYFFIN into the spotlight. Anchored by Peña’s wistful vocal delivery and fluttering guitar lines, the track explores the complexities of loving someone through their darkest moments. A wondrous blend of lyrical storytelling and danceable rhythms, ‘Hard Time Lover’ is a testament to GRYFFIN’s signature that moves both the heart and body.

“Chance is a beast. We got this stripped acoustic vocal from him last year and it has been the most challenging and rewarding process bringing it to life. His vocals bring back my indie roots and it’s been a while since I’ve had a song that reminds me of the ‘Gravity’ era while still sounding so new and fresh. 29. E – 40 ft. JasonMartin – Too Much

Today, multi platinum musician and entrepreneur E-40 announced the release of his new single “Too Much,” featuring fellow California native, JasonMartin previously known as Problem, available now on all platforms HERE via Heavy On The Grind Entertainment/Virgin Music.

“Too Much” is raw, unfiltered, and rooted in real-life game. Over piano-laced production and classic Bay Area bounce, E-40 cuts through the noise with his signature slick talk and unmistakable flow: “It’s too much real s** going on, quit worrying about the fake.”

The track blends E-40’s timeless perspective with JasonMartin’s confident delivery, serving as a no-filter anthem about staying focused and letting go of distractions. It’s a reminder that in a world full of noise and clout-chasing, authenticity still hits hardest.

34. Kee Nola – Problematic

Source:Kee Nola

Kee Nola, the New Orleans-born singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, uses his natural talent to blend genres and process his pain. The young artist paints with a new color on “Problematic,” his new single, which mixes emo, trap, and more to thrilling effect. Produced by Kee himself, “Problematic” draws power from a hard-edged synth riff, laid over halftime trap percussion, enhanced by Kee’s charging melody. Kee sings about his trust issues, as he self-medicates and steels himself to prevent future heartbreak: “Bad h*es made my heart cold,” he sings.

Directed by Maxii, the video draws inspiration from films like Blade and Underworld, following Kee as a baddie brings him to an underground rave. Things are not quite what they seem: the woman bares fangs, and Kee finds himself surrounded by bloodsucking vampires. Unfazed, the 21-year-old artist makes like Wesley Snipes, unloading on the creatures of the night with his trusty shotgun.

“Problematic” is Kee Nola’s first new single since releasing PARTYLAND, his latest mixtape, in April. Spanning 11 tracks, the mixtape is a collection of anthems for parties and the moments that come after, dripping with regret and heartbreak, yet radiating a defiant will to power through life’s hardships. The tape is home to singles like “NEXT BESTFRIEND,” “Late To The Party,” and “Party Girl,” Kee’s viral breakout hit. Released early this year, “Party Girl” has become one of the year’s most exciting underground hits, generating over 21 million streams to date, including 3 million on its YouTube video.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Kee Nola is a musical omnivore, inhaling music of all genres and incorporating them into his sound. He grew up playing music, becoming skilled with the piano, guitar, and drums, before learning how to produce beats on his own. Kee is equally inspired by the musical styles of 90s rock–he is a particular fan of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain–and ’10s SoundCloud rap, combining them into his own intoxicating style. Last month, Kee stopped by On The Radar, backed by a live band, to perform a cover of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” earning praise from Noisey and others.

With PARTYLAND out now via EUROVZN / NEWWRLD, and a new, alt rock-leaning EP on the way, Kee Nola is preparing to hit the mainstream. Stay tuned for much more from Kee Nola very soon.

40. Alemeda ft. Rachel Chinouriri – Chameleon

Source:ALEMEDA

Today, rising Ethiopian-Sudanese alt-pop artist Alemeda unites with hotly tipped British singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri for the rousing new single “Chameleon.” Listen HERE via Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) / Warner Records. The defiant collaboration, which takes aim at a relationship gone wrong, is the genre-transcending talent’s first release since dropping her critically acclaimed debut EP, FK IT, in 2024.

“Does it ever get hard to remember or keep up with your hidden agendas?” Alemeda begins the song over fuzzy guitar chords, before brutally dissecting a failed relationship. Chinouriri then taps in to share her own toxic encounter before the collaborators come together for a deceptively breezy-sounding chorus. “Karma’s coming you f**king chameleon,” they growl/coo over layered bright bedroom pop/rock production. “I’d pay you good money to stay away from me.”

A melting pot of sonic influences, “Chameleon” displays Alemeda’s mastery of genre — a talent she unveiled on her 2021 viral hit “Gonna Bleach My Eyebrows,” which has amassed more than 34 million streams to date, and 2022’s highly quotable “Post Nut Clarity.” The emerging artist built on that momentum with last year’s FK IT EP, which included the hazy single “I Hate Your Face” and the deeply vulnerable “Not Asking For Much.”

The 8-track set picked up much praise, with Rolling Stone applauding Alemeda’s “quippy rock bangers” and UPROXX declaring “the versatile project is a worthy introduction,” while Earmilk lauded her COLORS performance of “I already dug your grave” and her knack “for creating anthemic genre-defying bangers all about defiance, self-love, discovery, and heartache.” She then underlined her versatility by releasing an unplugged version of FK IT in late 2024.

With undeniably sticky tunes like “Chameleon” to road test, Alemeda is currently touring, opening for Chinouriri, and will then join on as the supporting act for Halsey’s For My Last Trick tour on July 5 in Lincoln, CA and July 6 in Highland, CA. Buy tickets HERE. What’s more, Alemeda will make her Lollapalooza festival debut performance on Friday, August 1. Stay tuned as she continues to unveil her latest creative era, one thrillingly unexpected sound at a time.

Putting in work for years on a quiet-yet-steady grind, Swims arrived at the forefront of popular culture as a tried-and-true star without comparison. He stirred up attention after posting covers online in 2019 — including Michael Jackson’s “Rock with You” and Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One” — gaining hundreds of millions of views and leading to his signing to Warner Records in 2020. 43. Cassandra Coleman – Coming Of Age

Source:Cassandra Coleman

Today, emerging singer/songwriter Cassandra Coleman shares her stunning debut single “Coming of Age.” Recorded at the storied Electric Lady Studios with assistance from Jack Antonoff and his band Bleachers, the aptly titled song embodies Cassandra’s journey from the family farm to working at a grocery store to where she is now: signed to Warner Records and perched up at the start of an incredibly promising career. Listen to “Coming of Age” HERE and watch the equally entrancing video HERE, which premiered exclusively today via Rolling Stone.

Though just over three minutes long, “Coming of Age” is a soul-searching epic that offers a potent introduction to her songwriting and lush indie-folk sound, unfolding in equal parts confessional outpouring and cinematic grandeur. Recorded live, the cut opens on stripped-back intimacy before weaving a tapestry of sound thread by thread: shimmering guitar, gauzy strings, hypnotic alto sax, thunderous drums. It’s all built around Cassandra’s warm and powerful vocal: “And I know it’s just outside my grasp, I’m / letting go of the past, I’m / finding my own way.”

About the origins of her gripping song, Cassandra explains, “From a young age I had big dreams, but because of my faith and how I grew up, I worried it would be detrimental to my spirit to think too much of myself — for a long time, I made myself small because that felt safe. But at some point all that shifted, and I knew I had to let go of certain things and walk into the newest version of me. That’s what ‘Coming of Age’ sounds like to me: a feeling of everything opening up, and so many new possibilities revealing themselves.”

“Cassandra Coleman is one of those truly singular talents,” adds Aaron Bay-Schuck, co-chairman/CEO of Warner Records. “I was completely captivated by her story and her vulnerability, and as I got to know her more I found this incredible determination and ambition underneath. Her voice pulls you in, and her storytelling keeps you locked in to hear more. We’re thrilled to have her in the Warner Records family.”

“Coming of Age” was co-produced by Antonoff and Nashville producer Scott Krueger, while each member of Bleachers pitched in on the recording — Mikey Freedom Hart plays slide guitar, Sean Hutchinson adds percussion, Evan Smith pitches in alto sax and flute, and Zem Audu joins him on alto sax. Antonoff contributes drums, bass, guitar, keys, synths, programming and cello. Other contributions come from engineer Oli Jacobs (synth, drums), session player Bobby Hawk (violin), and Krueger (piano, synths, acoustic guitar, programming).

The song’s very creation is a culmination of Cassandra’s musical trip so far, which began with her playing piano at age 2 at home in a rural slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Between homeschooling and running wild outside, she taught herself guitar, too, and found solace in songwriting. But it wasn’t until 2022 that she allowed herself to embrace her gift, moving to Nashville and writing with Krueger after full days working at a local supermarket. She quietly developed her sound over the ensuing years, and is now ready to share it with the world.

The music video for “Coming of Age” is both impressionistic and grounded, opening on Coleman in the back of a rust-dappled pickup truck, eyes closed and hair in the wind at dusk. Between shots that capture the beauty and power of nature, we see her alternately travelling inward and opening herself up to the world. The cathartic release of it all is palpable.

WIth more new music in the works, Cassandra has also announced summer dates with Bleachers and Young The Giant plus her first-ever festival appearances, including Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and both the “East” and “West” iterations of Antonoff’s Shadow of the City.

Arriving on the heels of 2024’s acclaimed Grief Chapter, the new album fosters the spirit of total originality that fans know and love, while also pushing their musicality, lyricism, and aesthetics to new peaks. The dozen songs contained within are heartfelt, brazen, dark, and wild, fractaling intense themes through the vibrant imagery of otherworldly landscapes and mythical creatures. Click HERE to stream Nostalgia.

The focus track for the album is “ON AND ON (Song for Jasmin)”, which is a true, platonic love letter from the band’s frontman Ryan Guldemond to his band mate, Jasmin Parkin. The two started their relationship as romantic partners, Jasmin later joined the band, and all parties involved (including the band) survived their subsequent breakup. Their relationship evolved into a deep and lasting friendship, that has endured deep loss, a lot of joy, and travelling the world together as bandmates. The video that accompanies the song is mostly shot by Ryan, and captures moments from those travels.

In making this album, possibly their most cohesive song cycle yet, Mother Mother have achieved something few established acts can pull off: total creative freedom, resulting in a record that feels both true to their legacy and gesturing toward their next two decades. Stay tuned as the group dives into Nostalgia and the journey ahead.

Leading up to the album’s release, Nostalgia features the recent singles that have already become fast fan favorites upon release including the playfully controversial “FINGER” along with its equally provocative and surreal video which gleefully takes on a series of societal absurdities over an off-kilter, distinctly Mother Mother brand of post-glam, alt-rock. The song also arrives with an appropriately surreal music video that pokes fun at domestic expectation. “FINGER” was directed by long-time collaborator Sterling Larose (Snotty Nose Rez Kids, SonReal, Claire Rosinkranz), Listen HERE via Warner Records, and watch the suitably insane video HERE.

Each of the tracks on Nostalgia explore familiar themes of alienation, existentialism, self-love, self-hate, gender roles, spirituality — while intentionally returning to the creative verve and fearlessness that guided their earliest work. They’ve previously shared the long-awaited, fan favorite ”Love to Death” and ”Make Believe,” a spirited sonic rollercoaster ride that celebrates outside-the-box thinking and, naturally, unicorns.

WHEN THE HORN BLOWS professed, “This track is a bold first taste of the expansive and cohesive creative palette Mother Mother has crafted for their upcoming album.” Melodic Magazine marveled at how, “Mother Mother continues to push boundaries musically and aesthetically, nodding to what the next two decades will hold.” Billboard raved, “The song is an energetic ode to fantasy and divinity, with a slightly sinister edge. It wouldn’t sound out of place on the soundtrack for a TV drama like Yellowjackets.”

45. Kenny Muney – Nevaaa

Source:Kenny Muney

With his locked-in flow and peerless work ethic, Kenny Muney is ready to elevate in the Southern rap scene. Aiming to assert his money-making bonafides beyond a shadow of a doubt, the South Memphis rapper announces his next tape, Kenjamin Franklin. The follow-up to last year’s The Blue Seasons Super DeluxeKenjamin Franklin reverberates with the Paper Route Empire rapper’s low-key flexes and sidewinding flows, as he proves he’s as much of a renaissance man as the blue-faced Founding Father who gives the mixtape its title. Home to the recent single “Back In The Bach,” Kenjamin Franklin arrives on June 20th via Paper Route Empire.

Along with the announcement of the tape, Kenny shares “Nevaaa,” his new single. A simmering trap anthem that only Kenny Muney can make, the song is a feast of wry flexes. The rapper relishes in running up the money and promises to never fall off: “Hey, them hunnids go loco, money go crazy, somebody go get me my meds,” he spits. In the video, Kenny gathers his crew in their foreign cars, as they compare jewelry and throw money in the air.

Emerging from hibernation as the weather warms, it’s about to be Kenny Muney season. Stay tuned for much more from the rapper in the coming weeks and months.

46. King Iso – Beat Box

On a lyrical tear without comparison, King Iso picks up the pace once again with a raw and relentless new single and music video entitled “Beat Box” out now via Strange Music. Watch HERE and Listen HERE.

He announces his intent as soon as the track kicks in, name-checking formative influences a la Doug E. Fresh and Ice Cubeand setting the stage, “We used to be at the lunch table like this.” From there, he decimates the bass-heavy production with the formidable flow that has cemented him as one of the underground’s most fearsome spitters. He runs circles around the beat and takes a victory lap, “Come a long way from baby mama public housing, went on tour for three weeks and made a hundred thousand.” The visual conjures the same intensity. Bathed in crimson lighting, he raps to the camera from behind the wheel of a convertible, on a couch, and in bed as he makes a sly nod to American Psycho in a few particularly fiendish moments. He’s just the villain hip-hop needs!

Iso recently served up “Hell’s Architect” with Matt Phoenix. The latter is nearing 100K streams already in addition to receiving looks from I’M MUSIC MAGAZINE and more.

It landed in the wake of his fastest-rising song yet “Travis O’Guin.” In less than a month, the latter has already reeled in 1.1 million YouTube views. Meanwhile, Hip Hop Over Everything and more featured it. Listen HERE and watch the music video HERE.

Everything just steamrolls the way for a whole lot more to come from Iso very soon.

“Travis O’Guin” marked Iso’s first new music since the arrival of his latest album iLLdren back in 2023. The latter piled up millions of streams fueled by “Feel” [feat. Tech N9ne & Matt Phoenix], “Nightmare,” and more. Upon release, V13 touted iLLdren, while Music Existence also plugged it. Underground Hip Hop Blog rated it “9-out-of-10,” going on to rave, “there is no question in my mind that this dude has become the best artist on Strange Music other than Tech himself for the way he addresses topics that aren’t covered too often in hip-hop today like mental health.” Folk N Rock summed it up best as “one of the most powerful albums this year.”

Right now, he’s headlining the More Group Therapy Tour across North America joined by Taebo Tha Truth, A-Wax, and Snake Lucci. It canvases the country and concludes on June 29 at The Gem in Idaho Falls, ID.

47. Ana Lua – Dance In A Trance

Source:AEUNA

Emerging singer and songwriter Ana Luna returns today with the music video for her latest single, “Dance in a Trance.”

Co-directed by Noah Hoffman, Will Curtis, and Ana Luna, the video takes place in a surreal bedroom set within a vast warehouse, blurring the lines between reality and inner emotional space. At its core is a masked man and a masked woman—representing Ana’s ex-lover and her past self—locked in a dance that unfolds as Ana (present-day, unmasked) watches, intervenes, and ultimately confronts her past. The masks serve as a powerful symbol of emotional distance and anonymity, allowing viewers to project their own stories onto the characters.

I chose to keep their faces hidden because it’s not about any one person—it’s about the emotion,” Ana explains. “I want viewers to project their own stories onto the characters, not be told who they are.”

The visual expands on the track’s themes of memory, identity, and the ache of trying to reach someone who’s right in front of you but never truly sees you. The video renders that internal duality in physical form: the masked dance as a representation of the past, the surreal setting as a reflection of Ana’s emotional world—a vast, empty space with a single bed at its center, highlighting how small one can feel beneath the weight of unresolved feelings—and her final kiss to the masked man as an act of closure, not reconciliation.

Born in Ukraine, raised in Paris, and now based in Los Angeles, Ana Luna is a natural-born storyteller whose music is as cinematic as it is emotionally raw. Though she’s always known she was destined to be an artist, Ana initially led with acting and kept her songwriting close to the chest. It wasn’t until college, after years of emotional growth and inner work, that she finally gave herself permission to stop overthinking and dive fully into music. Over time, she’s shaped a signature sound that moves effortlessly between dream pop, alt-rock, and moody ballads, creating songs that feel celestial, sultry, and reflective.

Ana approaches music as a form of therapy and storytelling, using it to process wounds, examine behavior, and carve out space for healing. Her songs explore the complex emotional layers beneath the surface, asking where our feelings come from, what they reveal, and how they shape the way we see the world. As she readies her debut album, Ana Luna is channeling her voice into songs that invite connection, introspection, and healing.
