Only one man has the particular set of skills… to lead Police Squad and save the world! Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) follows in his father’s footsteps in The Naked Gun, where he must solve a murder and stop the department from being shut down or turned into a Spirit Halloween store.
In addition to Liam Neeson (Schindler’s List, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Batman Begins, Taken series), the film stars Pamela Anderson (Scary Movie 3, Borat, Baywatch), Paul Walter Hauser (Cobra Kai, Inside Out 2, Super Troopers 2), CCH Pounder (The Shield, The Avatar franchise, NCIS: New Orleans), Kevin Durand (Lost, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Resident Evil: Retribution), Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy (Boo! A Madea Halloween, Work It, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts) , Eddie Yu, with Danny Huston (American Horror Story: Coven, American Horror Story: Freak Show, Yellowstone).
The legacy sequel (the fourth film in the franchise and the direct follow-up to Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult ) is directed by Akiva Schaffer (Saturday Night Live, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping), who also wrote with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand. Schaffer also served as an executive producer alongside Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, Andrew Lary and Daniel M. Stillman while Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins took on producer responsibilities.
