One of reality TV’s favorite love stories is adding a new chapter with a baby on the way. Love Is Blind season 1 couple Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton have announced they’re expecting their first child together, marking the joyful end of a four-year fertility journey. Read more inside.

In an exclusive interview with People, the Hamiltons revealed that they conceived through IVF and had been anxiously counting down the days until they could take a pregnancy test.

“We were counting down the day till we could test,” Cameron shared. “We did the classic Clearblue test and we both went into the bathroom to look. It was face down. We flipped it over. We saw the word ‘pregnant,’ and that was just a huge moment.”

Lauren, overwhelmed by the moment, added, “I fell to my knees and cried. It’s been a long time coming. We’ve literally been trying to get pregnant for four years.”

The couple first captured hearts in 2020 on the inaugural season of Netflix’s Love Is Blind, where they fell in love sight unseen and tied the knot in November 2018. Since then, Lauren and Cameron have remained fan favorites, often praised for their strong bond, genuine affection, and grounded approach to life after reality TV fame.

To share the news with fans, the couple took a creative approach, releasing a cinematic “movie trailer” video on Instagram. The trailer-style clip walks viewers through their journey — from meeting on the show, building a life together, enduring the challenges of IVF, and now, embracing parenthood.

“In a world where love is blind, two strangers took a leap of faith… but one question remained,” the dramatic voiceover begins. With a playful nod to their signature humor and storytelling style, Cameron asks Lauren, “Should we just tell them?” Lauren replies, “Nah, let’s draw it out. It’s good for engagement.”

The trailer ends with the emotional line: “They waited. They prayed. They poked themselves repeatedly. After years of hope, love finds a new form. This fall, a new chapter begins.”

According to the couple’s announcement, their baby is expected to arrive this fall. As their love story continues to unfold, fans everywhere are celebrating this long-awaited miracle with the couple who proved that, yes, love can be blind — and sometimes, even more beautiful with time.
