Happily married stars Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance were all smiles at the Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning New York Premiere ahead of the release of their dueling summer blockbusters that hit theaters on the same day (May 23).

Bassett, who stars as President Sloan in the next-level Mission Impossible sequel, shared the marital milestone with her doting hubby who stars as not-very-covert CIA agent Cobra Bubbles in the highly anticipated live-action Lilo & Stitch remake.

Earlier in his promo tour, Vance joked that Tom Cruise couldn’t compete with Stitch in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“Tom, how are you gonna do bro? I don’t think you can compete with Stitch, Tom, but you’re gonna give it your best shot,” he teased,” adding, ‘We love you, you know we love you. I’ll be there for MI8, I’ll be there.”

Married in 1997, Vance, 65, recently shared the secret to his nearly 30-year marriage to Angela, 66, in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE.

“It’s really about when my wife is happy, the land is happy,” he revealed. “So I just try to [go], ‘Does this work for you, baby?’ It doesn’t work… we’re not doing that.”

In Lilo & Stitch, Vance is on the hunt for destructive alien Stitch who befriends a lonely Hawaiian girl after crash landing on Earth. Together, the inseparable duo become a perfectly imperfect family.
