Earlier this week (April 28th), three-time Grammy Award-winning artist and philanthropist Ne-Yo brought together entertainers, athletes, and community leaders to Eagles Landing Country Club in Atlanta for his first-ever Celebrity Golf Tournament. The event was created to support The Oasis Academy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering gifted orphans and previously displaced children through education and innovation.

A lively and heartfelt day unfolded on the greens, with notable appearances by radio personality Big Tigger, boxing champion Claressa Shields, country singer Breland, AEW wrestler Queen Aminata, and Caribbean artist Sej among others. Guests enjoyed not just a spirited golf tournament, but also exclusive raffle prizes including 2 Super Bowl tickets, a 7-day Tom Joyner cruise for four, a $30,000 cash prize, a Bentley car, and a stunning 3-carat diamond making the day even more unforgettable.

One of the major highlights took place when the City of Stockbridge and Mayor Anthony S. Ford honored Ne-Yo and the Ologo Golf Tournament with a special proclamation, recognizing the tournament’s profound commitment to making a direct impact on thousands of gifted orphans worldwide.

Beyond the golf course, attendees were treated to massages, chiropractic services, premium cigars, Fanatics gift bags, Shea Moisture beauty products and a curated selection of beverages from D’USSE Cognac, E-40’s Earl Stevens Selections, Coca-Cola, Sprite, Simply Pop and more. In addition, food trucks from Waffle House and local favorites Sazon Unico and Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks kept everyone energized throughout the day.

The event was a true celebration of community, purpose, and giving back – setting a strong foundation for many impactful tournaments to come. Shoutout to Ne-Yo for making a difference and being honored for it. Check out some photos from the Ologo Golf Tournament below.
