Lionsgate blessed fans with the official trailer for the upcoming action thriller film Flight Risk this week (January 1st). Continue reading to check it out and to see some first look images from it.

In this high-stakes suspense thriller, Academy Award nominee Mark Wahlberg (2006, Actor in a Supporting Role, The Departed) plays a pilot transporting an Air Marshal accompanying a fugitive to trial. As they cross the Alaskan wilderness, tensions soar and trust is tested, as not everyone on board is who they seem.

In addition to Wahlberg, the film also stars Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey, Downton Abbey: A New Era, The Gentlemen) and Topher Grace (That ’70s Show, Spider-Man 3, Interstellar, BlacKKKlansman). 

Flight Risk was directed by the legendary Mel Gibson (Braveheart, The Passion of the Christ) and written by Jared Rosenberg. Gibson also served as a producer on the film alongside John Davis, John Fox, and Bruce Davey. Executive producers on the film included Alex Lebovici, Jenny Hinkey, Vicki Christianson, Nick Guerra, Paul J. Diaz, Petr Jákl, Russell Hollander, Jon Huddle, Patrick Josten, Walter Josten, Jarrett Mahoney, Christopher Woodrow, K. Blaine Johnston, Ryan Donnell Smith, Natasha Stassen, and Allen Cheney.
