We’re super sad to be saying goodbye to Season 6 of Love Island USA.

We’ve been watching the series for some time now but this season was different.. The show has always had a decent sprinkling of diversity but this summer Peacock kicked off the series with two Black women, JaNa and Serena, a Persian, Leah, a blonde from Pittsburgh named Kaylor and a wildly hilarious brunette named Hannah and ultimately the sisterhood bond that formed between JaNa, Leah and Serena has been our favorite part of watching.
We couldn’t be happier to see Leah in the finale with her British boo Miguel, JaNa and her Latino bombshell Kenny and Serena with fellow Texan Kordell.
here’s been 32 episodes thus far so way to much to recap, but we wanted to look back at some of our favorite moments with the Big 3.
Reality TV is notorious for letting women of color down time after time when it comes to love. But these girls showed so much self-love and love for each other — the guys were almost an afterthought.

1. Kordena Were A Match Made In Mustard

Serena matched with Kordell on the very first episode and it really seemed like they were meant to be because they were wearing the same citrus shade.
2. Leah VS. Rob

Even if you didn’t watch Love Island USA this season you probably still couldn’t escape all the social media chatter about Leah and her first match Rob, a snake wrangler who caught the eye of almost every bombshell to land in Fiji. Despite all his options, he never really got over Leah, despite villainizing her when she was part of the vote that sent home his match Andrea.
3. JaNa Quickly Kicked Coye Curbside

While JaNa caught the eye of Coye, the 6’8 beefcake who had his pick of ladies on the first episode, she soon endeared herself to audiences everywhere when he showed signs of misogyny by revealing that he wouldn’t want to date a woman with a body count higher than a handful despite having bedded some 150 women!
4. Serena Rose To The Challenges

Love Island USA puts the couples through challenges to test their connections and our Big 3 rose to the occasion every single time.
5. Hot Lips

We love this moment when Leah’s match Miguel first entered the villa. The couple didn’t match right away but it’s clear from this photo they had chemistry from the start.
6. Bawwwwdy By JaNa

JaNa brought her bangin’ bawwwdy to each and every challenge. After Coye made his exit she spent a little time with Connor but it turned out not to be a love match.
7. Serena Style

While Love Island USA is known for scantily clad singles, Serena really stood out by opting for outfits that fit her personality instead of bowing to pressure to show skin all the time. Don’t get us wrong, ‘Rena rocked out in swimsuits and minidresses too but she was never scared to be herself and we love her for it.

JaNa struggled to find love for most of the season but when bombshell Kenny came in days before Casa Amor it was a match made in heaven.

Kordell is the younger brother of NFL pro Odell Beckham Jr. and he and Serena both proved to be pretty athletic in challenges. Unfortunately, the gold team didn’t go home with gold in the sports day challenge — but these two still were shining.
14. Don’t Let These Two Row Your Boat

Part of the reason Serena and Kordell didn’t walk away with the win was that teammates Miguel and Leah ran into some troubled waters trying use their boat paddles! But at least they looked good doing it.

JaNa and Kenny were on the winning pink team and they ended up being awarded a hideaway date. We love to see it.
16. Two Thirds Of The Trifecta

In the words of SZA, “I can’t lose when I’m with you!” Even though they lost the challenge Serena and Leah are winners when it comes to their friendship.

Unfortunately once Casa came to an end, the Islanders had their matches put to the test and our Big 3 had each other’s backs once again.
