This week (October 30th), Prime Video gave us our first look at one of their most anticipated films of the year. Continue reading to check out the official Unstoppable trailer.

Unstoppable is the inspiring true story of Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg but whose indomitable spirit and unbreakable resolve empowered him to defy the odds and pursue his dreams. With the unwavering love and support of his devoted mother Judy and the encouragement of his coaches, Anthony fights through adversity to earn a spot on the Arizona State Wrestling team. But it will demand everything he has, physically and mentally, to achieve his ultimate quest to become an NCAA Champion.

The film features an all-star ensemble cast including Jharrel Jerome (Moonlight, When They See Us, I’m A Virgo), Bobby Cannavale (Third Watch, Will & Grace, Boardwalk Empire), Michael Peña (Tower Heist, American Hustle, Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp) with Don Cheadle (The Ocean’s Trilogy, Hotel Rwanda, Black Friday) and Jennifer Lopez (Selena, The Wedding Planner, Enough, Hustlers).

Additionally, Anthony Robles himself is seen in the film and is credited as ‘Anthony Robles Double,’ performing the complex wrestling moves and stunts. Jerome trained for months and worked very closely with Anthony to establish the physicality and determination required for the role.

Academy Award winning (Argo) editor William Goldenberg makes his directorial debut in Unstoppable. The screenplay was written by Eric Champnella, Alex Harris and John Hindman based upon the book by Anthony Robles and Austin Murphy. Unstoppable was produced by Artists Equity (Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company), with Ben Affleck, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Anthony Robles, Andrew Fraser, Gary Lewis, David Crockett serving as producers.

Unstoppable will be in select theaters on December 6th and on Prime Video January 16th, 2025. While we wait, check out the film’s trailer and some first look photos below!
