Last Friday (February 14th), during All-Star Weekend, Boardroom (media network for sports, entertainment and culture) CEO Rich Kleiman and Bose CMO Jim Mollica had the pleasure of hosting Boardroom Talks with Bose. Held at International Smoke in San Francisco, the event was attended by a range of athletes, cultural leaders, and business executives. It featured Kleiman and Mollica in conversation with newly minted NBA Hall of Famer and entrepreneur Carmelo Anthony and 4x Grammy-nominated rapper and philanthropist Quavo.
The four men conversed about the increasingly intersecting worlds of music, sports, and business. Highlights from the panel conversation included Quavo divulging that music was actually his Plan B, Mollica giving his synopsis on how big companies sometimes fall short, Kleiman explaining why All-Star Weekend is so special and Melo sharing the financial advice he gives to his son Kiyan, amongst many others.
In addition to the conversation, guests were also invited to enjoy specialty cocktails and a selection of Anthony’s VII(N) The Seventh Estate wine. They also experienced Bose’s “Listening Lounge,” where attendees had the opportunity to take the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones for a test drive with a Boardroom-exclusive playlist.
As one might expect, the event was star-studded! VIP guests included Boardroom co-founder Kevin Durant; philanthropist Wanda Durant; 3x WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson; New York Liberty Owner Clara Wu Tsai; 76ers Owner David Adelman; Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody; American Express CEO Anre Williams; Raising Canes CEO Todd Graves; OBB founder Michael Ratner; basketball trainer Chris Brickley; FanDuel president Christian Genetski; influencer Ronnie 2K; and designer Jeff Hamilton; among many others.
