This week (February 18th), Apple TV+ shared the trailer for their upcoming crime drama Dope Thief. Continue reading to check out the thrilling preview.

Based on Dennis Tafoya’s book of the same name, Dope Thief follows longtime Philly friends and delinquents who pose as DEA agents to rob an unknown house in the countryside, only to have their small-time grift become a life-and-death enterprise, as they unwittingly reveal and unravel the biggest hidden narcotics corridor on the Eastern Seaboard.

Dope Thief stars Academy Award, Emmy Award and Tony Award nominee Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta, Eternals, Bullet Train). He is joined by Wagner Moura (Narcos, The Gray Man), Marin Ireland (Law & Order franchise, The Irishman, The Umbrella Academy), Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek: Voyager, Orange Is the New Black), Nesta Cooper (Travelers, See), Amir Arison (The Blacklist), Dustin Nguyen (21 Jump Street) and legendary Golden Globe winner Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction, Mission Impossible film series, Baby Boy).

The Scott Free production was created by Peter Craig, who also served as an executive producer. Other executive producers on the series include Ridley Scott, the director of the first episode, Brian Tyree Henry, David W. Zucker, Richard Heus, Jordan Sheehan, Clayton Krueger and Jennifer Wiley-Moxley.

On Friday, March 14th, Dope Thief will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Friday through April 25th. To get excited for the big day, check out the official trailer for the series and some first look images below!
