Last weekend (Sunday, May 21), some of the cast members of White Men Can’t Jump teamed up with BLACK ON THE BLOCK to give millennials a glimpse of their childhood while celebrating the release of the remake for the highly anticipated new film during the hottest block party of the summer. Black on The Block is a community event providing a culturally ethnic experience that celebrates and elevates entrepreneurs of color and highlights black owned and minority businesses throughout Los Angeles, giving small businesses and entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase and sell their merchandise and food.

Guests were overjoyed to watch an exclusive Q&A with J. Alphonse Nicholson (White Men Can’t Jump & P-Valley) and Myles Bullock (White Men Can’t Jump & BMF) moderated by VIBE Magazine’s Maya Abraham. Celebrity guests, friends, family, and fans all came together to celebrate the film’s latest release.

Our guests enjoyed a full 360 experience provided by our sponsors Hoop Dream Studios, a full open bar with WMCJ signature sponsored by A La Mode Events,  a selfie photo booth sponsored by Fire Photo Booth and a themed 360 photo booth sponsored by Capture This 360 Photo Booth.

Some of the celebrity guests and influencers in attendance included White Men Can’t Jump cast members J. Alphonse Nicholson, Myles Bullock, Paris Nicole and Bentley Green; Marcus Scribner (Blackish/Grownish) , LA Buck (Music Executive) Porscha Coleman (The Parkers & Disney Pixel Perfect), Kalan FRFR (Roc Nation Recording Artist), Kenyon Dixon (Grammy Nominated Recording Artist), Demetrius Shipp Jr (Tupac All Eyez on Me), Twist (Growing Up Hip Hop), Corey Meekell (Recording Artist), DJ Sky High, Chris Book (Black In Crew), Nessie Blaze (Black Ink Crew), Barbra Sanchez (Actress/Influencer), Willie Beemin (Hip Hop Artist), D-Spank (South Central Love The Movie) , Aaron Camper (RnB Singer/ Songwriter) and many more.
