This week’s ‘What To Watch’ TV and film list features binge-worthy selects. Whether you’re in the mood for crime and comedy, televangelist chaos, or a nostalgia-fueled animated adventure, we’ve got you covered. Check out our top picks for this week’s most exciting releases inside.
If you’re into fast-paced comedies with a mix of crime, family drama, and unexpected hijinks, Hulu’s “Deli Boys” is the show to watch. This new series follows two spoiled Pakistani brothers (played by Asif Ali and Saagar Shaikh) who suddenly lose their father and their lavish lifestyle.
But here’s the twist: their dad wasn’t just a businessman, but he was a full-blown criminal mastermind. Instead of mourning, the brothers decide to step into his shady empire and run it themselves. Expect plenty of laughs, questionable decisions, and a chaotic power struggle as they try to take on an Italian crime boss (Kevin Corrigan) and navigate their father’s secret dealings.
The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away. “The Righteous Gemstones” is back for a fourth and final season, meaning our favorite scandalous televangelist family is gearing up for one last unholy ride. Created by and starring Danny McBride, this comedy has given us some of the wildest family feuds, ridiculous money schemes, and over-the-top religious satire we’ve seen on TV. While HBO hasn’t revealed much about what’s in store for this season, one thing is certain: the Gemstone family is never short on drama. And with this being the last season, expect an epic send-off filled with outrageous plot twists, backstabbing, and maybe even a hallelujah or two.
SpongeBob fans, rejoice! The second SpongeBob SquarePants spin-off film is here, and this time, the spotlight is on our favorite tiny villain, Plankton. In Plankton: The Movie, our small but mighty antihero teams up with his longtime enemy, SpongeBob, to stop his own AI-powered wife, Karen, from taking over the world. It’s giving Mr. & Mrs. Smith, but make it underwater and kid-friendly. This animated musical adventure promises plenty of laughs, nostalgia, and catchy songs. Because what’s a SpongeBob movie without a ridiculous musical number?
Which of these will you be watching? Let us know in the comments.
