SBH Productions is the audio entertainment company founded by Hart and Charlamagne. Written by Dwayne Alexander Smith and now available exclusively on Audible, Kingsland plunges listeners into a fictional sovereign Black nation just seven miles off the coast of Georgia, where dark secrets threaten a utopian vision built on reparative justice.

In the nine-episode series, Duke stars as Jamison Wright, a seasoned investigator assigned to a chilling case that unravels the very fabric of the young, wealthy nation. Funded by a landmark U.S. Reparations Act, Kingsland has become one of the most exclusive countries in the world. But on the eve of its 10th anniversary, a string of lynchings sends shockwaves through its carefully curated image of perfection. As Wright navigates Kingsland’s elite political inner circles and long-buried truths, listeners are drawn into a tense, emotional, and socially relevant story.

“There are many social and political themes in the series that reflect real-life issues,” said Duke. “My character, while layered and complex, is ultimately just human. Conveying that humanity using only voice was incredibly rewarding… It challenged me in new ways and deepened my connection to storytelling.”

The series boasts a star-studded cast including Yara Martinez, Joniece Abbott-Pratt, Jason George, Joe Morton, and Bel-Air’s Jabari Banks. Directed by Nicole Shelton and produced by an experienced team including Karen Kinney, Marc Gerald, Mike Stein, Bryan Smiley, and Dave Becky, Kingsland is the fifth Audible Original from SBH Productions. Previous hits from the company include Finding Tamika and Summer of ‘85.
