A new featurette and trailer dropped for Zoe Kravitz-directed thriller mystery film Blink Twice. The cast and crew chat about how the process of creating with one another and sharing such a captivating and thrilling story. When tech billionaire Slater King (Channing Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Naomi Ackie) at his fundraising gala, sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. It’s paradise. Wild nights blend into sun soaked days and everyone’s having a great time. No one wants this trip to end, but as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. There is something wrong with this place. She’ll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out of this party alive.
“This movie has so many elements of surprise,” Tatum reveals in the featurette.
Tatum stars as tech billionaire, Slater King, who paints a picture that’s too good to be true. Kravitz co-wrote Blink Twice alongside E.T. Feigenbaum, and she skillfully directs the film as well.
Her fiancé and lead Tatum shares that Zoe’s directing is “insanely smart” in the new featurette. As for Kravitz, she describes the film’s progression in a few short words.
“At the beginning, the trip is fun,” Zoe details. “You feel like you’re there. You feel like you know everybody.” That is until, reality hits and punches you in the gut.
The Rated R film goes on a ride that encourages fans not to “blink twice” or they might miss all the tell-tale signs of horror, drama and thrills. Kravitz is a huge fan of the drama, expressing her excitement to take fans on the journey soon.
“It’s like wow what the f did I just watch,” star Naomi Ackie shared in the featurette.
