Hip hop artist and gifted songwriter, Yang-Baby Boloman, recently dropped “Mami Dance,” a captivating track inspired by a chance encounter on a bus, where he witnessed a group of young girls dancing alongside an elderly woman. The vibrant scene sparked his creativity, and the lyrics flowed effortlessly, capturing the essence of the moment. Despite initial doubts about the chorus, the enthusiastic response from a live audience convinced him and his collaborators to include the track on his forthcoming album.

Derkaiser initially started working on the song with DJ Fabster P, but faced challenges that delayed its completion. Fate intervened four years later when Yang-Baby connected with Dr. Anton, and they seized the opportunity to finalize the track. They spent a night in the studio, blending the Atlanta vibe with traditional African rhythms, resulting in a unique and energetic composition. The true impact of their collaboration was realized during live performances in France and Cologne, Germany, where the crowd’s enthusiastic response affirmed the song’s potential.

Fans can look forward to Derkaiser‘s upcoming album, titled Yoko, which promises to be an exciting and eclectic musical journey. The tracklist features a mix of groovy and introspective songs, reflecting the artist’s lifestyle and worldview. Notable tracks include future releases “Mercedes Benz” and “Nono,” which symbolize success and glory, as well as the emotionally charged “Mambo,” a collaboration with soul artist Krema.

As for live performances, Derkaiser has a European tour in the works, with dates and venues to be announced soon. Fans can anticipate memorable shows in countries with vibrant hip hop communities, such as France, Germany, and England. While surprise guests are yet to be revealed, Boloman promises an unforgettable experience that showcases the dynamic energy and collaborative spirit of his music.
