Atlanta’s own Gat$ is back with a fiery remix of “Cheapskate,” this time joined by Ben Reilly, an artist he connected with at Rolling Loud. The track takes the original’s moody intensity and cranks it up, delivering a harder-edged anthem that continues Gat$’ mission of calling out rappers who favor fairy tales over facts. His razor-sharp flow cuts through the apocalyptic beat, painting a vivid picture of the current wave of haters.
The original version, produced by CHASETHEMONEY, marks their first collab in five years was already a standout, with stark black and white visuals directed by Roberta Rivera and Jan-Michael Reyes letting Gat$’ bars shine. Fresh off the cinematic “White Bronco” featuring Reason, Gat$ is gearing up for his debut album, Life On Film, dropping this summer.
