The fourth extended play from Los Angeles, California emcee Hexxx has finally arrived. Marking a decade since his debut EP Samhain, Hexxx has consistently built his reputation through projects like West Coast Wicked Shit and his full-length efforts Demon Season and Tales of a Cursed G. Following the release of the Suerte EP last summer, he returns with Endless Night, a project that serves as an audio exploration of his current artistic headspace.

The project opens with “Rock, Paper, Cemetery,” which sets a tone of hereditary legacy, while “Crash Out” shifts into a trap-influenced soundscape, with Hexxx candidly discussing his internal struggles. Following an interlude, “The Real” highlights his commitment to independence and his appreciation for his core circle, leading into the darker, driving energy of “Freight Train.”

The latter half of the EP maintains the artist’s signature West Coast aesthetic. After the “Ghost Dog” interlude, “Westside Samurai” reflects on the personal cost of achieving success, while “Loco” leans into a gritty, ratchet-inspired beat. “Entrance Theme” provides a Memphis-influenced atmosphere dedicated to his peers, and the project concludes with “Friday,” a jazzy, celebratory anthem that rounds out the experience.

Despite the nearly year-long gap since Suerte, Hexxx spent much of 2025 away from the touring circuit to focus entirely on the craftsmanship of Endless Night. The result is a cohesive project that successfully navigates jazz rap, ratchet, and Memphis-style production. Lyrically, the project finds the artist addressing long-standing questions and evolving his narrative.
