Lil Wolf has been carving out his own lane in the global scene – not by sticking to a formula, but by refusing to acknowledge that one exists. His music doesn’t sit neatly inside the confines of house, ambient, or downtempo; instead, it flows through them like water, picking up textures, rhythms, and stories from every place he travels.

At the core of Lil Wolf’s project is a philosophy: music as a mirror of life’s contradictions. “To feel and experience all of this beautiful, messy, dynamic, wild life,” he says. “And to choose love, not fear. To find a home within yourself.” It’s a perspective that shines through in his sets and productions – moments of ecstatic release balanced against passages of deep introspection, all carried by an instinct for connection.

Though Lil Wolf is quick to laugh at himself – “I’m a total hippie, so peace, love and light” – his commitment is serious. He sees music not just as entertainment but as a tool for healing, community, and dissolving barriers. “We have too much division in the world these days. Let’s bring in more PLUR.” For him, the ethos of rave culture isn’t nostalgia; it’s a necessary response to the fractured realities of now.

“What will remain constant is their essence in the music. And I think it will be wildly fascinating what that turns out to be. I hope that music crosses so many genres, evolves so many times, and yet is distinctly recognizable as having an intangible me-ness.”

That “me-ness” is already showing up across his work. Whether he’s layering Afro-inspired percussion from sessions in Africa, weaving airy synth lines shaped by nights in Berlin, or dropping into stripped-back grooves drawn from his time in Bali, the throughline is unmistakable: curiosity, openness, and heart. “The only thing consistent,” he says, “will be that I’m infinitely curious.”

It’s that curiosity, and his commitment to love over fear, that make Lil Wolf one of the most compelling voices in the music scene  today. Undone is a manifest: to lean into vulnerability, to resist boundaries, and to find freedom in unraveling.
