Los Angeles rapper Gonzoe is reportedly dead.
Gonzoe, according to TMZ, was shot and died in Seattle. The rapper is said to have been shot three times near a Shell petrol station in the city before entering the station and collapsing. He eventually died at a local hospital, according to TMZ, and authorities located a car with gunshots inside nearby.
Up to 2Pac’s death in 1996, Gonzoe, was a member of the Outlawz and a close associate of 2Pac. He was a member of the rap group Kausion, which was signed to Ice Cube’s Lench Mob Records in the mid-90s, and received his rap moniker from 2Pac himself.
On Friday, July 30, 2021, fellow 2Pac collaborator C Bo shared his thoughts on Gonzoe’s death on Instagram.
