After being hailed as an instant underground classic, Dregs One’s new single “Fog Mode” featuring Andre Nickatina gets a remix with another Frisco legend, Black C of RBL Posse. The remix came about when San Francisco notable DJ Juice heard the original and thought of adding another local veteran to the already-banging track. This type of community-based networking has been the foundation of the SF rap scene ever since artists like Nickatina and RBL went turf-to-turf selling tapes in the early 90s. In the digital age, Dregs keeps that spirit alive, representing the new generation of Frisco rap hustle. A full-length “Fog Mode” solo album by Dregs One will follow in February, featuring both established and up-and-coming San Francisco artists like San Quinn, Equipto, Blimes, La Dona, and more.
