Los Angeles-based emcee F.Y.I. is prepping his new album. While we anxiously await the new sounds, he dropped a new single entitled, “eLAayvate” (pronounced elevate). Akili produced this new track, with additional scratches by DJ Cee Brown.

This smooth, sample-enriched song allows F.Y.I. to spit thought-provoking rhymes. The Mid-City representer shows his prowess on the mic as Akili provides the backdrop on this perfect soundtrack to the summer.
