According to reports, American rapper J. Cole has left the Rwanda Patriots team of the Basketball Africa League after he completed his contractual obligation with the team.
On May 26, Senior NBA writer Marc J. Spears tweeted about J. Cole’s departure from the Rwandan Patriots after completing his contractual obligation and also citing ‘family obligation’ as part of the reason for his departure. His tweet;
“Source confirms rapper J. Cole of the Rwanda Patriots BBC has completed his contractual obligation to the Basketball Africa League and has departed from Rwanda due to a “family obligation,” a source said. J. Cole had five points, three assists, and five rebounds in three games.”
