It’s the boldness of the song that makes it worth listening to. 

Everyone loves to say, “It’s not you, it’s me.” But Precious Pepala wants to throw this statement in the trash. The lyric “give me a reason to say it’s not me, it’s you” perfectly conjures the message that she’s trying to get across. Precious Pepala’s lyricism is shameless and fun, which is what makes her artistry unique. Listening to this song is what it feels like to finally say something you’ve always wanted to and have no regrets. 

In this hard-hitting rock song, Precious Pepala takes all the frustration from the situation she’s in and injects it into her stellar vocal performance. I was blown away on the first listen. It’s the perfect song to scream along to while you jump on your bed using a water bottle as an imaginary microphone. Her powerful voice on top of an intense guitar produces a track that’s strong enough to bring the house down. 

If I only had one word to describe Precious Pepala, it would be talent. And if there was only one word to describe this song, it would be show-stopping. This song will never get old.
