Clocking in at just over a minute in length, redboy doesn’t over extend his welcome with his music. He knows exactly what he wants to say and isn’t willing to give us a directors cut version of events, instead cutting it down to the bare bones of what is needed to leave us in awe and produce something that has him firing lyrics off with the velocity of a heavy duty machine gun. BAD TO THE BONE opens with a soft spoken voice before exploding to life as redboy fires off a flurry of lyrics, never pausing for a moment to let you take it and instead moving you onto the next cleverly worded lyrical score he wishes for you to behold. On top of that he injects huge amounts of charisma into his delivery, filling the minute with personality that’s are not to become enthralled by. Finish it all off with a top quality production and you can clearly see the talent redboy possesses.
