Coming together to make some magic happen are Hio and SMV, two amazing artists who originally hail from the Atlanta. The pair recently collaborated on a beautiful single named “Untitled Love”, and the resulting art that they created stands out strong amongst the pack of newly released songs. For both Hio and SMV, “Untitled Love” serves as their first addition to their respective discographies in 2022, making this release a prominent one for all parties involved.

Resting just south of four minutes in total length, “Untitled Love” is a mild-mannered offering that places the singing and rapping talents of Hio and SMV atop a staggering, jazz- infused instrumental. Both Hio and SMV’s presence on this song are palpable, as the two take turns hitting you with fine-carved raps and an addictive hook. Though airy in its sonic structure, the overlapping lyricism is anything but, taking on topics such as struggles to survive, a longing for mental peace, and survivor’s guilt. Though it is packaged beautifully, “Untitled Love” is a heartfelt longing to make it through the negatives of life – an outward extension of optimism that things will ultimately be okay. Full of meaning with each passing second, this track is one whose runtime possesses immense power.
