Last week, Atlanta-bred rapper-singer Kodie Shane released the official video for her new track entitled ‘FaceTime’. The uptempo record has a feature from Rick Ross and is about the leading lady in her life and the dynamics of their relationship.
I am a fan of Kodie Shane for multiple reasons, but her sweet attitude is one of the things I’ll sing to the mountains about, and the way she treated her fans when I saw her perform live seemed to be a remnant of who she is as an individual when she is offstage.
At the age of sixteen, Kodie Shane signed a record deal with Epic. Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty featured on her first mixtape. She was the only woman to perform at the first two Rolling Loud concerts. Before signing to Epic, she followed her sister’s tours. If you still aren’t familiar with the young indie star, you can look up her discography and give it a listen. She’s been at it for six years and counting. And by the looks of it, I don’t think she’s going to stop making music anytime soon.
