CA-based singer-songwriter and musician CALYN unveils a deeply emotional new single titled “Tricky.” The fast-rising artist’s vision behind this new track addresses the mysterious and sometimes uneasy feeling of a crush that’s bound to lead nowhere. Over an astounding sonic design in which R&B is merged with other genres and subgenres, CALYN has once again displayed her special creativity and stunning musicality already heard in her previous works. 

She shares: “When I wrote Tricky I wanted to express the feeling of wanting somebody that has no interest in one particular but instead, multiple at once…I feel like the lyrics really capture what it’s like to know you shouldn’t want that someone because it’ll only hurt you in the long run. You want to believe so badly that you can change their mindset when nine times out of ten that’s not the case.”
