Last year, the world and the entertainment business lost one of its gifted rappers, slash songwriters, Young Dolph. Today, we celebrate his heavenly birthday by sharing his latest release, ‘Hall of Fame’ marking his first posthumous single. In the Bandplay song, the Memphis legend reflects on his decorated life, what he sacrificed to obtain wealth, and enjoying every moment of it with the ones closest to him.

As a Young Dolph fan, I appreciated his effortless flow and approach to his craft. Although he had a Southern drawl and talked about trapping on some of his records, somehow, they were also relatable. Every line described his perspective on life and some of his experiences, and he made us laugh all the time when we’d hear his punchline. The line about putting a young woman through law school on ‘Preach’ because she likes to argue still gets me and makes me chuckle. Without further ado, he’s the official visualizer for ‘Hall of Fame’, and an embed to stream the record at your leisure.

Young Dolph would have 37 today. He leaves behind his wife and two children.
