A few months after the release of his debut single ‘So Sad’ that reached over 2.2 million streams on Spotify, Dell Mac is back with the third song he has ever put out, ‘Know Me Best.’ The song itself slots into the lane between rap and pop, and his music clearly draws inspiration from the likes of melodic rap royalty The Kid LAROI and Juice WRLD, with the aforementioned song delivering a nod to both artists throughout the track.

The message is a tale of remembering what life was like with a past love that he is struggling to let go of, and learning how to deal with the memories that he still has from those times. It’s a raw and emotional step into the spin cycle of pain that comes when you lose someone who was once the most important thing to you. ‘Know Me Best’ brings the idea to life that no matter how a relationship ends it always hurts, and he is trying everything that he can to fill the void and make sense of it all. Dell Mac is very early on in his bound to be fruitful career, and the fact that this is only his third release speaks volumes for that prediction. It’s hard to find artists so polished early on in their careers, but it’s a testament to what can be done with heaps of talent and hardwork, and by using the resources of the new age to your advantage.
