French Montana gets reflective with the release of the official video for ‘Wave Blues’ featuring Benny the Butcher. This is the second single from his upcoming project ‘Coke Boys 5’, set to release this month. For this song, French Montana really comes out—killing with the autotune—which is matched perfectly by the hard-hitting bars delivered by his fellow New York artist. They do a great job at complimenting each other on this track. The video had a variety of elements, which lends itself to the idea that French Montana has been staying in a place of reflection both on his own life and on the things that are going on in the world. The two are seen amongst their team of people in an empty warehouse, on a beach in Miami, with flashes of protests going on, and an aerial view of some of New York landmarks. This is a very solid release from French and it’s just adding to the excitement of what this project will be.
